I'm in the same boat, I can't really afford to do CD, but I am. (SS+, still need to have food as well.) I worked it out, and to be honest, as I'm out on the road, I was picking at things, and then treating myself when I'd had a hard day to a decent lunch. It's a good swap when I look at it that way.
Add it up and see. (Can you pay it weekly?)

Diet: Cambridge
[quote=girlygirl;868400]Actress Natalie Cassidy tried the Maple Syrup Diet for a tv documentary. She lost weight quickly but the following week put it all back and more - yet was still cutting calories. She felt elated at the initial loss but developed dark shadows under the eyes.

From what I remember of the documentary Natalie was stopped from continuing on the diet when she nearly passed out and became confused whilst out with friends.

The programme suggested that it is not a healthy option.
People like Beyonce will have a nutritionist available to her at all times and people to do day to day things for her like housework etc. Plus she wouldn’t have to work or anything so she would not have any added pressures on her. She probably had vitamin shots and the like as well.

I would definitely speak to a GP first. CD is cheaper than Lipotrim and Slim fast.
Personally I don’t think that you can’t put a price on your health and as we all know being over weight can have added medical complications.

Even if you just to one of the ‘shake’ diets for a short while, the weight loss will boast your confidence and then maybe you can go on a sensible eating plan from there.

Good luck with what ever you decide to do.

I was not condoning the 'diet', certainly least of all because some silly celebrity does it. I was simply stating the only 2 things I'd ever heard about it.

hi ya,
I am on the 3rd day of the master class detox and i am doing it as a detox for 10 days then slowly going to introduce a low calorie healthy balanced diet. this takes will power as its not easy, so you need to be ready, but so far i have had no nasty side effects which i admit i was expecting. i think the drinks are lovely(apart from the salt water drink in the morning) and when i have made the lemonade drink up and offered my husband and family to taste they have all loved it. the secret is to make sure you put enough lemon juice in other wise it will taste too much of the syrup. you can have 6-9 glasses a day so its very filling and what with the water in between you do not feel hungry, (although this could change in a couple of days lol).
I am very surprised as i was expecting to feel very hungry by now and thought it would taste awful but doesnt , so far so good.
will keep you posted about weight loss after.
remember if you are thinking of trying this it is not supposed to be a long term diet but a body cleanser but has an added bonus of weight loss so you will need to gradually ease your self off this to a low calorie diet and exercise at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Danni x

Diet: CRON - Calorie Restriction with Optimal Nutrition
The Master Cleanse diet is DANGEROUS! What you wind up losing is water weight. You will find little energy to do anything. Then if you take senna tea or epsom salts for "cleansing", you will wind up with painful bloating and cramping.

Just add this to other bad dieting ideas:
Cabbage Soup Diet
ABC Diet
Water and Diet Coke Fast
Egg Whites Only or 3 Hardboiled Egg Diet
Hollywood Cookie or Juice Diet
Starbucks and Cigarettes or drinking Red Bull all day.

You could add 'the baby-food diet' diet to that list.
