A BLOODY POUND

I cant say too much negative about this diet after losing nearly 9 stone when i started. I but three back on cos im stupid and started again a couple of weeks ago... First week success i lost 12 pound and could have married my councilor there and then. That was th push i needed. I have stuck to the diet better than ever, no cheats all packs and three litres of water a day. God i even started walking for an hour four times this week. Imagine my disappointment when i jumped on them scales today.... 1 BLOODY POUND...

GIVE ME A KEBAB!!!!!!!!

Hello, do you know me?
If you don't you should. I'm a pound of fat, and I'm the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet. Want to know why?

It's because no one ever wants to lose me; I'm Only One Pound, just a pound. Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds or fifteen pounds, but never only one, so I just stick around and happily keep you fat.

Then I add to myself ever so slyly so that you never seem to notice it, that is until I've grown to ten, twenty or even more pounds in weight. Yes, it's fun being Only One Pound of fat, left to do as I please.

So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying "Oh, I only lost one pound." (as if that were such a terrible thing!)

For you see, if you do this you'll encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm not worth losing. And I love being around you - your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you. Happy Days!!

After all, I'm Only One Pound of fat!!!
--------------------------
You'll probably have a great weigh in next week

Great response Karion and thank you. I've been slightly peeved about only losing 2lbs the last 2 weeks, but you've hit the nail on the head. I really am pleased for all weight lost.....

Diet: Together we lost 8 stone on CD.
Love your response KD, brill as always!

Something wrong with my eyes this afternoon though because I kept seeing this title as "A BODY FOUND" I need to rest my eyes from the screen I think!

Well done on the pound but you know all the variables there are you probably have lost more fat than you think.

KD, that was awesome!

splatno1...1lb is GREAT! Sonkie is right ya know...1lb of butter or something measured out is actually amazing to feel! Now just to think how many of those 1lbs you've lost! Have you carried something in relation to the weight you've lost so far and felt how it would be to carry that again? Your doing great, keep up the great work. Don't get discouraged, muscle does weigh more than fat too remember.

Do you know how many times I have given up because it was 'only 1 pound'? If only I had seen Karions response!! Really kicks the point home!!!

One pound a week works out just over 4 stones a year.
