My First Weigh In - Hmmmm

Hello everyone :) yesterday was my second weigh in with Slimming World. On the 15th of January I weighed myself for the first time in years and had reached 16st7lbs I decided to do something about it but I lacked direction and didn't really know what I was doing.. I managed to lose about 9lbs in my first week and was ecstatic with the results! after that I ate a lot and put about 4lbs back on. A few weeks ago I went to stay with my dad and he has lost 2st on Slimming World. I learnt how the diet worked and joined my local group when I got home last Thursday. I had my first weigh in last night and I lost 3lbs.. I'm very happy that my weight is at 15st5 1/2lbs but I would have liked to have lost a bit more.. can anyone give me some ideas to speed up my weight loss! thank you so much. Really would love to lost 4lbs this week and get my half stone :D
 
What exercise are you doing?
Before I started trying to lose weight I did no or very little exercise at all. I still have a long way to go with my weight loss but I have started doing exercise daily and noticed my weekly weight loss was alot better than previous weeks.. I'm putting it down to the exercise.

You could try increasing the amount of exercise you are doing weekly to see if that makes a difference although, 3lbs a week is great!
 
Funny you should say about the exercise! I hadn't been doing any really but this week I've been dancing a lot and just joined my local gym.. shock horror! so hopefully i'll see a boost in my weight loss. i'm happy with 3lbs, but would love it to come off a bit quicker.. i know i'm being impatient but I'm trying to reach my club ten :D

I weighed in for the 2nd time on Wednesday and have lost 8lbs over the 2 weeks (2 in the first week and 6 in the second). I have just followed the diet, written everything down as I ate it and made good choices. I try and save my syns til the evening so I can have a treat and look to have around 10 a day rather than 15. I've also started walking to work and back (45 mins each way). I'm only aiming to lose 2lbs a week though...a steady weight loss will stay off longer.
