    I'd just try having a go at maintaining for a while. Maybe go for right through winter. I know a lot of us on here have been saying that since the clocks changed we've wanted to eat and felt a lot more hungry.

    Just try keeping the naughty stuff under control and not letting go of any new habits you've acquired. I have an "instead of rather than as well as" philosophy, so if I want crisps/chocolate then I don't have them after a meal as a treat, I have them instead of the meal/snack that was due.

    Anyway a pound a week still equates to almost 4 stones off at the end of a year, slower it comes off the longer it stays off as the saying goes.

    I agree with tranquility, i am finding it difficult since the weather got colder and darker ..but trying to be as good as I can..when I can..the whole motivation thing is going to come a calling soon for us all i think!

    Maintaining through winter is actually a very appealing idea for me, possibly having a few days dieting here and there to take off a bit of the weight I've put on

    I can tell that the kind of hungriness I've been feeling recently tho isn't just normal wintery wanting a few extra calories - it's emotional eating - where you just want to eat and eat even though you're not even hungry anymore

    It's interesting I know for me hat doing well at losing weight really brought up some issues for me and am guessing it'll be worth looking at those too - not sure

    I was thinking of re-watching a series of programmes that really did motivate me to change my ways, see if it works again

    I'm with you Blossums, it is so much harder at the moment. I think Christmas looming has an effect too. I think keeping it off, if not actually losing represents some kind of progress!

    May 17th 2011 - The fight back to health.:
    May to December 2011 28lbs lost.

    Weight gained between December 2011-March 2012 = 9lbs
    March 26th - Back with a vengeance!

    New day for weigh-ins- Mondays.
    Start weight 15.11
    April 2nd - 1lb lost = 15.10
    April 9th - 2lbs lost = 15.8
    April 16th -1lb lost = 15.7
    April 23rd - STS = 15.7 = acceptable!

    Just popped in, as I weighed myself for the first time in a couple months today, and I wanted to check which weight I had gotten down to, I've put on 6 lbs in the last 2 months. Am actually surprised it's so little - have had various health problems again which have put exercise out the window

    Might be nice to have another go soonish tho

    I'm not gonna count my chickens but this morning I just decided to start logging what I eat on MFP again. So maybe I will give it another go

    Also weighed myself this morning, and am stunned that I only put on 2lbs in the last 2 months! It seems a diet of chips and bread and all manner of other naughties wasn't so bad for me on the weight front at least

    Have had healthy fresh foods today and oh my, they are delicious

    So, still not counting any chickens but successfully stuck to diet yesterday and today too, am logging everything I eat and have swapped bread chips etc for fruit and veg from our local shops (much nicer than the supermarket)

    Have also managed to get a bit of exercise in - haven't done any exercise worth talking about for a few months now, and must say it feels really good to be abck on it, just am walking for now, but managed an hour yesterday and have done half an hour already today - go me lol

    Have got a festival in 7 weeks time and think that is motivating me to have another go, I liked how it felt when my waist was getting smaller - or should I say I liked how a waist was appearing, and it would be nice to feel that way again and feel good in my clothes
