    About me

    I am 25 years old, i have spent half my life overweight and hating on my body. I have tried diet after diet and have never been able to stick to it from lack of motivation. My friend has recently lost 5 stone on the cambridge diet and so i decided i would also try it out. I have 3 stone that i need to loose and i would like to loose it as soon as possible. My boyfriend has promised me a pair of American Apparel disco pants when i reach my goal.

    Day 1

    So today is my first day on the cambridge diet. I didn't wake up until lunch time and had a original porridge, it didn't look very appertising but smelled like ready break. After the first mouthful i knew i wasn't going to like it, each spoonful was making me feel even more and more sick so i only ate about half. Ive felt so so hungry all day, even my 2 litres of water didn't help my hunger but found that chewing gum has made me feel less hungry. I had leek and potato soup for late lunch which tasted quite nice and i am due a milkshake in a couple of hours. Ive tried my best not to think about food, watching come dine with me didn't help lol
    I am determined to stick to sole source 100%, i know that if i cheat on the odd days that i'll eventually just give in all together. Failure is not an option this time. Im not going to to continue to feel fat and ugly. Im hoping that ketosis will kick in quickly because feeling hungry will be the thing that will fail me. xo

    Today i woke up and didn't feel hungry, which is very unusual for me! I had a pint of water before i went out to do some training and had a banana milkshake when i got back around 12. It smelled lush and tasted so nice! Ive had a few periods of feeling hungry but I've been on water all day and I've been chewing gum. Ive been swimming this afternoon. Was there for about half an hour but only did about 15 minutes of breast stroke, i didn't want to over do it and end up feeling crappy for the rest of the day. Had a vegetable soup when i returned which smelled like chips for some reason lol but it tasted really nice. As soon as i had finished my soup i was just counting down the hours till i could have my last milkshake of the day. Decided to go for a nap but didn't wake up until 10pm :/ So now im just making a warm vanilla milkshake, hope i can add this to the list of products i like!
    I don't feel like I'm finding it too difficult, i just need to stop counting down the minutes until i can eat again. I was always thinking about food and i need to break that habit. So another day of 100% sticking to sole source xo

    Today i woke up again not feeling hungry, its such a nice change! I have a chocolate shake for breakfast which was really nice. Ive noticed that the backs of my legs are quite sore, I'm not sure if this is from swimming yesterday. Ive had a few periods of feeling hungry and my stomach is rumbling even though I've drank more than 4 pints of water today. I was an hour later having my leek and potato soup and so i have an hour to wait until i can have my last shake. Ive been to the supermarket to pick up some more bottled water It was so hard walking past the bakery. It smelled amazing. But i just kept thinking about the 8 pounds that I've lost so far. 100% for another day

    So that's another 100% day done. I had a dream last night that I was eating chocolate and so today all I've been thinking about is chocolate. I've had a vanilla shake for breakfast, well I say breakfast I tend to hold off until lunch time so I can spread my meals further into the day because I stay up until after midnight and it's around 9ish that I get peckish. I had vegetable soup for lunch and I'm drinking my chocolate shake whilst watching tv. I've felt like I've had no energy this evening, just walking up the stairs has been more effort. I hope tomorrow I'll feel less hungry than I did today and hopefully feel full of energy. Xo

    I started my day off with a banana shake which has to be my favourite shake. For the first time since I started this diet I have cooked a meal. I am the chef in my house and my poor bf has been adamant that I wasn't going to be cooking food anymore but felt a bit guilty for him to have to be doing all the cooking now. So. Today I cooked him veggie sausage (which is my fave food) and egg fried rice. It smelled amazing and I did want to give the sausages a lick but I resisted and instead of sitting and drooling over him eating it I went and did the washing up.
    Last night my bf kindly told me that my breath stunk ha which I've been told is a sign of ketosis but I've found myself being quite hungry today despite having plenty of water. I've had vegetable soup for lunch and I'm now preparing a chocolate shake. I'm off to the cinema tonight and it will be the first time in a long time that I havnt taken a bag of goodies to gorge on during the trailers. Hopefully the sound of people munching popcorn won't make me too hungry otherwise I'll have to be shushing them all.

    Today has been a horrible horrible day. Woke up with horrible stomach ache and then realised id had a visit from mother nature which annoyed me because I've not seen her in about 2 years due to the type of contraception i have. Im wondering if its anything to do with this diet. So I've had stomach ache all day and no amount of pain relief has worked.
    Ive had a banana shake at around 12 with plenty of water. Ive spent the day feeling sorry for myself on the sofa. Ive also felt really hungry today which is annoying because i thought i was in ketosis. Ive had a vegetable soup for lunch and i have another shake due in 2 hours. I have work tonight 10pm-1am and I'm really hoping i won't be feeling too hungry. Got about 4 packs of gum to help tho.
    I have my very first weigh in at 9.30am tomorrow. I really hope this TOTM doesn't effect my weight too much, i need a high number to keep me motivated. Off to soak in the bath now to see if it helps with my pooley tummy

    Had my weigh in this morning and i have lost 8 pounds. Im happy with that Also got measured and I've lost some inches Ive been moved unto sole source plus because my consultant wasn't happy with me being on just sole source. Im quite looking forward to be able to taste food again even if its just going to be some scrambled egg.

    After my weigh in i had a chocolate shake, I've still got stomach pains which I'm hoping won't carry on for much longer! It sucks being a women from time to time. Now I'm on SS+ i made scrambled egg with some chopped up spring onion. It tasted really dry and i didn't enjoy it that much. I tried to eat it really slow so i could feel full but i didn't really feel anything, not hungry but not full either. Ive had a banana milkshake this afternoon and my soup is due in about an hour. Ive been clearing out my room today and making several trips up and downstairs, I've felt tired and a few times I've felt a bit dizzy from standing up too quickly. Im not sure if this is to do with having proper food for the first time in a week but I've got an upset stomach. I really hope i can manage at work because its not easy for me to leave my post for a trip to the toilet especially when i need to get there quickly! Ive found some tablets and hopefully that will help!

    Today i had a mint chocolate shake for breakfast (which was about 11.30) it tasted much better than the last one i had, maybe i didn't mix it for long enough last time! For my late lunch i had 2 hard boiled eggs which i sliced up over some cucumber and lettuce. Its an acquired taste now that i can't pile on some branston pickle. I tried again eating it super slow but i still felt hungry afterward so i had a banana milkshake. I have my soup due in about an hour but right now I'm not feeling hungry which is good but maybe thats because I'm chewing gum. I know I'm really naughty and i shouldn't be everyday I'm on the scales, its habit thats hard to break because I've done it for so long now. But the numbers are going down every morning
    Urgh my boyfriend cooked some chips and a veggie pie earlier and it smelled so good. Oh why do all the bad things taste so good!

    He keeps saying he'll just eat when I'm not here lol but that's no good for him and I need to get used to people eating nice things in front of me because it's going to help in the long run. Pie and chips never looked so good! Lol
