I am 25 years old, i have spent half my life overweight and hating on my body. I have tried diet after diet and have never been able to stick to it from lack of motivation. My friend has recently lost 5 stone on the cambridge diet and so i decided i would also try it out. I have 3 stone that i need to loose and i would like to loose it as soon as possible. My boyfriend has promised me a pair of American Apparel disco pants when i reach my goal.
So today is my first day on the cambridge diet. I didn't wake up until lunch time and had a original porridge, it didn't look very appertising but smelled like ready break. After the first mouthful i knew i wasn't going to like it, each spoonful was making me feel even more and more sick so i only ate about half. Ive felt so so hungry all day, even my 2 litres of water didn't help my hunger but found that chewing gum has made me feel less hungry. I had leek and potato soup for late lunch which tasted quite nice and i am due a milkshake in a couple of hours. Ive tried my best not to think about food, watching come dine with me didn't help lol
I am determined to stick to sole source 100%, i know that if i cheat on the odd days that i'll eventually just give in all together. Failure is not an option this time. Im not going to to continue to feel fat and ugly. Im hoping that ketosis will kick in quickly because feeling hungry will be the thing that will fail me. xo
