    42 lbs...Three months...40 and Fabulous.

    Hello there

    My name is Lizzy. I have three stone to lose before the end of Feb next year...I don't want to be fat and forty.

    I am using a low grain diet plan (I don't each sugar, wheat, rye, corn, etc) I do eat meat, fat, fruit, veg, nuts, seeds and the odd oat cake. I have three small meals a day and two healthy snacks.

    I have a young daughter and I am currently a SAHM so exercise will be daily walking, exercise dvds, playing with my little one and dancing to videos on the TV (which we both love to do.)
    I am also studying an English degree as I am hoping to become a teacher when my baby goes to school in three years.

    This is my diary...I hope to write in it every day...I am hoping it is my motivation, my means of reflection and my success story.

    Well I have planned today's meals and so far so good.

    I have had oats, seeds and soya milk for brekkie...ham salad with mayo for lunch and roast chicken with veggies for tea. Snacks are yoghurt, apple, pear and almonds.

    I am taking my little one to a petting farm this afternoon so we will have a good walk around there...and then I will do an exercise video tonight after she has gone to bed. It's an old Davina DVd which I am bored of...I may have to invest in a new (cheap) one...so I don't give up due to boredom.

    My treat tonight will be a skinny latte whilst watching I'm a Celebrity get Helen Flannagan out of here.

    So far...so good. x x

    I forgot to add...I am also trying to improve my water intake. I know it is great for weight loss and it is meant to help the body shift cellulite by detoxing the skin. I currently have about two glasses a day along with three cups of herbal tea and a normal cuppa. I shall aim for 2 litres a day...so between 4 and 5 glasses a day. x

    Reasons why I want/need/must lose weight:

    To feel better about myself;
    To fit in to my size 10/12 clothes again instead of wearing all these black, size 18 tents;
    To feel healthier in myself;
    To have more energy, excess carbs make me feel so sluggish and they are my dietry weakness;
    To have more get up and go for my daughter;
    To be able to teach my daughter healthy eating habits and not to use food as an emotional crutch;
    To get rid of my baby weight (bubs is 14mths now so I have no excuse);
    To not feel self conscious when out with slimmer, fitter friends;
    To be more sexually confident and not worry about those wobbly bits;
    To stop snoring, get rid of acid indiestion and lose those jowels that are nicely forming on my jawline.

    I am sure there are many more...but those are the main ones.
