Newbie - if I'm going to do it I'm going to do it right! Food diary!

Hi, gem here!

Slimming world starts tomorrow, done it before but fell off track, gained lost weight ... And then some :eek:

I have a complete diff outlook on things this time and dealt with my own issues so feel super confident and read for flabby arse kicking! Going to keep a record of my food diary as think this will super help me, and if people can input, help, give ideas etc then I would be super grateful with help on my journey :)

we CAN do this ... we WILL do this

thanking you all for reading, and maybe contributing and encouraging, I need helpl and think I have finally come to the right place ;-)

Right ... so here I go! Ready to change my life for the better, I have the right mind set and great support at home and on here so have good feelings about this!!!!

Oh and the sun is only blimming well shining so I that is boosting my mood 1,000,000 times more today!!

Will write later with what scrum my foods I have been munching on :)

So ...


For breakfast I had grapefruit with a sprinkle if sweetener ... lush in this sunshine!

Lunch I had pitta bread pizza with a side salad ... was amazed at how delish that was!

And for dinner we are having stuffed portobello mushrooms with slimming world spicy wedges (boyf now prefers these to anything I buy as tried them out last week! Result!!!) and side salad ... again super yummy as had them before and didn't even realise they were syn free!!

Also been snacking on grapes during the day!

I'm amazed at how yummy my meals have been ... and am now excited about tomorrow! Lol!

So brekkie today was all bran with semi skimmed milk and some grapes, both healthy options used already but have already planned my lunch and dinner without any so its all good :)

Will blog again after lunch! :) xxx
 
Lunch consisted of a jacket potato with a sprinkling of cheese (naughty syn-age as I've already had my hex's today for breakfast!) and a side salad! And also managed to squeeze in a muller light! Yum!! Looking forward to dinner!! Hehe! :) xxx

Aww! Thank you! That's what I was thinking, the 1st stone is my mini goal so fingers crossed I can stick to it :) I just feel different this time round so it can only be a good thing!

So had a delicious syn free chilli filled with veg, with a side salad and rice, and even managed a handful of SW spicy wedges, was super amazing, the boyf was highly impressed! Yey!

Even have some left over so thinking maybe a jacket with chilli and salad for lunch :) xxx
 
So, had grapefruit sprinkled with sweetener for breakfast, and a muller light, resisted the urge for chocolate mid morning (go me!) and had a pitta pizza with side salad for lunch (hex x2)!

My Journey first started Feb 2012 @ 17st 2lb, i then went on to loose just under 2 stone before going on a holiday - i put 6lb on while on holiday and lost that as soon as i come back.. I then had a weekend away and put those 6lb back on again. Since then i was slowly putting it all back on till i over took my original starting weight and ended up weighing 17st 9lb. I then decided enough was enough and on 7th Jan this year i decided that would be my fresh start. I have now lost 14.5 lbs, however Slimming World only see it as 7lbs - which is quite disappointing!! I am so glad that i continued to go to group even though i know most weeks i would have put on - i just keep thinking that if i hadn't it could have been 1000x worse!!

This time i want to do it.

Well done on losing over a stone, that's really good!

So they only see it as losing 7lb because your starting weight last time was lower??

Forgot to do my diary last night!! Felt lost!! But super busy as had family over!

Well ...

For dinner last night I had left over chilli from Wednesday night with jacket and half a sweet pepper, and a side salad. I resisted a glass of wine (go me!)

For breakfast this morning I had egg on toast (half of 1 hex) with a teeny squeeze of Tom sauce. (Naughty naughty!) and a handful of grapes.

Not sure what to have for lunch yet ... !
