Hi all,

Well I'm completely new here. I have done a online diary before and it worked really well for me. Unfortunately the moderators shut it down as they felt it was unhealthy..needless to say I'm delighted to have found another. :)

I'm 31 and 11 Stone. I would love love love to get to about 10/10.5 stone in the next 6 weeks so I'm going to go back to what worked for me before! Slimming World! I'm heading for my 1st meeting tonight but I'll start by what Ive eaten so far today!

Breakfast : 1 Banana & 1 Glenisk Low Fat Greek Yogurt
Lunch : Falafel and Cous Cous Salad with Tbls Low Fat Hummus
Snack : Yogurt Rice Cakes x2
Dinner : TBC
 
Well my first weigh in was 100% worse than what I expected. I am 11stone 5lbs..have no idea how that 5lbs came on in a week but whatever...

Food was good yesterday -
Breakfast - Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt with Strawberries
Lunch - 2 slices of wholemeal with an egg and beans
Dinner - Turkey Spaghetti Bolognese
Snacks - Banana & 2 yogurt rice cakes
2 x 5km walks (48 mins each)

Syns : 100ml Prune Juice (3) x2 Yogurt Rice Cakes (8..so not worth it) Total : 11

Day Two :

Breakfast - 1 Weetabix , Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt, Strawberries, Blueberries and Grapes - Yum
Lunch- 1 egg, 2 slices wholemeal (HEB) with the crusts off, beans and rocket salad
Dinner - Roast Chicken with skin off, loads of sweet potato, parsnips and carrots & broccoli, Gravy
Snacks : 2 bananas, 4 teas (milk was HEA)

Syns : Weetabix (3.25), Fat Free Salad Dressing (0.5), 1 Yogurt Rice Cake (4), 2 nibbles on some chocolate biscuit cake ( counted this as about 3) = Total : 12.5

I literally ate so much yesterday but feel so lightweight today! Hopefully somethings working :) I also ran 4km and walked 5km as my body magic!
 
Day Three :

Breakfast : 1 Weetabix , Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt, Strawberries, Blueberries and Grapes
Lunch : 2 slices wholemeal bread (HEB) and 2 eggs, side salad
Dinner - Chicken with Black bean & Noodles Chinese ( 5syns)
Snacks : Banana, Tea x 4 (milk is the HEA)

Syns: 1 Weetabix (3.25) Fat Free Dressing (0.5) Chinese Dinner (5) 4 chips (2?) Total : 11 ish

I also got out for a 5km walk at lunch time :)
 
Day Four :

Breakfast : 1 Weetabix , Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt, Blueberries and Grapes
Lunch : 2 slices wholemeal bread (HEB) and 2 eggs, Beans
Dinner - Chicken Stirfry with Noodles..extra extra spicy

Syns : 1 weetbaix (3.25) x2 Jacobs Mikados (5?)

I also went to the cinema and did not have ANY popcorn, ice-cream or chocolate even though my BF was scoffing some beside me. I was soooo proud of myself!


 
Day Five :

Started off day with 6km run.

Breakfast : Banana Pancakes with Strawberries and honey
Lunch - Smoked Salmon
Dinner : Went out for dinner with the girls so had to have planned what I needed to get.
Starters : Grilled Chicken skewers with salad and some pineapple dressing
Filet Steak, Surf and Turf with a large salad and Hollandaise sauce.
Lots and lots of wine and vodka!
Dessert : NONE :) (even though it was sitting looking at me whispering eatttt me...eatttt me)

Syns : A bit all over the shop. But I'm allowing for all the dressings and sauces to be about 8 syns. I'm not even counting the alcohol :eek:
 
Day six -

Yesterday dying with the worst hangover known to man. I could barely eat...until I did and couldnt stop :)

Dinner : Baked Salmon with asparagus, green beans and small amount of potatoes
Dessert : Mixed berries with some soft scoop ice-cream.
Snacks : x2 Jacobs Mikados, Smoked Salmon

Syns : Hollandaise Sauce (5) Soft Scoop Icecream : (4.5) x 2 Biscuits (5) Total : 14.5

This was probably my worst day so far! I have my first weigh in tonight so wish me luck :)
 
Day Seven - weigh in day

-5lbs :) - thank you slimming world. Thrilled with this loss!

Yesterdays food

Breakfast : 1 Weetabix , Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt,Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries
Lunch : 2 eggs scrambled, Beans, two slices wholemeal (HEB)
Dinner : Roast Chicken (skin off), Carrots, Broccoli, 1 smal roast potato

Snacks : 1 Viscount Biscuit

Syns : 1 Viscount Biscuit (4) 1 Weetabix (3) Gravy (1.5) Butter (1.5) Total : 10
 
Day Eight :

Breakfast : 1 Weetabix , Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt,Strawberries,
Lunch : 2 eggs poached, Beans, two slices wholemeal (HEB)
Dinner : Baked Sea Trout with mixed salad & bean salad from M&S
Snacks : Banana, Sushi

Syns : 1 Weetabix (3) Sushi - I have no clue? I only got fish and rice so I'll give it (2) Dressing (1) Total : 6

I'm getting quite sick of the same lunch every day so I've mixed it up today and plan to have some smoked salmon, salad and scrambled egg on wholemeal.
I am finding I'm ravenous by the time I'm going home and I've no idea why as I'm eating a good amount of carbs/protein. Maybe I need a few more snacks!
Forgot to mention a 4km run and a 5km walk yesterday too! :) Anybody out there by the way? I feel like I am rambling to myself :)

 
Day Nine :

Breakfast : Breakfast : 1 Weetabix , Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt,Strawberries,Grapes ( lovely crunchy sweet grapes are amazeballs in this)
Lunch : 2 Slices of Wholemeal Bread, 2 eggs poached, smoked salmon and salad
Dinner : Lean Turkey Mince Bolognese (absolutely amazing!)
Snacks : Grapes, Pear
Syns : 1 Weetabix (3.25) half Crunchie (4.25) Salad Dressing (0.5) Total : 8.5

1 round of Par 3 golf...

I tried on work trousers today and they feel so comfortable. It really gave me more motivation and a serious boost to know I'm losing inches too!

Dinner : Chicken fahitas with no wrap. Baked spicey potatoes with sour cream.

Syns : Velvet Crunch ( 4) 1 Weetabix (3) 1 Tbls Sour Cream (1.5) 2 squares of Galaxy chocolate (3.5) Maybe some oil used for cooking (3) Total : 15 ( ;( didn't feel this day was worth 15 syns!)
 
You are doing so well. a 5lb loss in the first week is amazing.

You're my first poster! :) I thought I was alone there for awhile. Thanks a million...I dont think I'll lose the same again!
