My 8 week challenge!

Hey...

So... 8 week challenge! Well it's just under 8 weeks actually... So here is the story!

My. Best friend gets married in 8 weeks, I am a bridesmaid, so fat I have lost nearly 4st on a mixture of slim and save and weight watchers. We have a bit of a dress disaster... In that the last time I tried mine on it was still too tight and now the other size 6 bridesmaid is pregnant and her dress is too small!

Anyhow I've ordered a new dress which will hopefully fit but in the mean time.....

I've rejoined the gym, my induction is on Tuesday evening and I plan on doing 2 gym and 2 swims a week until the wedding with the hope of losing at least another 1 1/2stone in this time.

I think that's do able as I think have around 8 stone to lose to get to a perfect BMI. I am well out of ketosis following s&s now so hopefully should have a good loss my first week.

In terms if my diet I am not sure what to do... Can anyone offer any advice? Should I go back to weight watchers or is there something else anyone can recommend?

Thanks... I'm toying between Sw, ww and Atkins... The difficulty I have with Sw and ww is that I'm not great at stopping eating when I'm full but I also don't like weighing and measuring...

I love fruit so thinking maybe not Atkins...

Have you had good loses on Sw?
 
Well things are not exactly going to plan! Broke one of my back teeth Sunday night and finally got into the emergency dentist today.. After a very traumatic app involving a faint and vomit I now have one less tooth... Eaten very little the last two days and had to cancel tonight's gym induction. I've re booked it for tomorrow but I'm in agony and feeling very sorry for myself :-(

So induction tomorrow then nice healthy food shop on thurs once I've got paid and can eat again!
 
Just been to my gym induction.. All 5 minutes of it! Booked a PT session for next Wednesday, will hopefully get for a swim before then!

Pay day tomorrow and my moth is starting to feel a little better so time for a nice big healthy shop!

Hey! Thank you... Sorry for the late reply! How are things going for you?

I had my first personal trainer session this evening, did an hour of circuits then a quick swim. Man I ache already!! Think I am going to be sore tomorrow.

The hopefully final bridesmaid dresses arrived today, mine fits but a little tight around the waist band, if like to lose another stone before the wedding in 6 weeks. More would be nice but given last week was an absolute write off if be happy with a stone!
 
Yikes I am sore today!! Cracked on with day 2 of the 30 day squat challenge... 55 squats... Kinda impressive given in in so much pain from the gym I can barely sit on the toilet!!

Is anyone else doing the 30 day squat challenge? Tell me it gets better...

And even sorer today (if that's a word!!) going to take some brufen with my breakfast to see if that helps!
 
Just back from a hen weekend... Had no control over food but didn't go mad either! Drank about a bottle of champagne... Guess better than beer or cider!

Swam 70 lengths yesterday... It was a rest day for squats but have done my 70 for today.

Back to the diet tomorrow!
 
Wow, you are are doing amazingly well. Good on you, I am defo keeping up to date with your diary, it has truly motivated me. I am not going to exercise until day 3 is over, but I am going to do more housework, thanks Mrs. Keep up the good work xx

Thank you! Feeling pretty good now the pain has gone!

Done my 75 squats for the day and just been for a swim, only 40 lengths but it was hard going. The pool was very full and I'm sure I burnt extra calories doing a slalom!!

You are right to not do too much too soon or you will just feel grotty! You are doing great :)
 
It doesn't seem to matter how early I get up I can not get out of the house any earlier! I hate waiting for buses, I came out of my street at the bus flew round the corner past me so stood waiting 15 minutes for the next one. Decided to walk to the stop before to waste done time and burn a few calories... Something I would never have done before!

Day 7 of the squat challenge today... 80 to do... Did 20 whilst I waited for my thins to toast this morning. They are starting to feel a little easier and no sore bits from swimming last night other than my wrists. I'm pretty sure that's from have to continually duck past people!!

My personal trainer text this morning as I was putting a crisp into my mouth!! Guilty...

I need to get my eating sorted, I'm doing more than enough exercise but my weight is staying the same! It's not really my meals that are an issue more that I am snacking between meals :-(

Made a big pan of ww bolognese sauce last night with lots of veg in it, grated courgette and carrot and mushrooms and red pepper and onions, it's delicious... Had some for lunch with whole meal pasta...

Think I'll borrow my mums ww books and get a grip again!!
 
Just out of the gym... Not too bad but can feel different muscles hurting like my hips! Bit worried about walking tomorrow!

Trainer on holiday next week then I'm away so she's given me a programme that I will try to follow but can see lots of swimming rather than being in the gym!

Oh and I forgot my towel tonight :-( gutted because my shower is rubbish and I was looking forward to a nice how shower! Oh well home for a bath!

Going home for some ww spag Bol :)
 
Morning!

Well weighed in this morning and no weight loss... No surprise as rubbish food and a hen do... Need to get my food sorted.. I keep saying that! I just can't seem to get organised!!
