Ok so i started a diary in the Lipotrim forum which only one gorgeous lady comments on lol! Apart from that its just so quiet on the forums and I'm finding it hard without the support. My success on LT last time was due to my willpower but also hugely down to the support on minimins. I keep messing around on this diet and id be at goal by now if i stopped messing so here's a new fresh start to the last leg of my goal!! Ive had a massive 8 day blowout and ate till i was sick :( really dont want to be going down that road again. So ive been back on 100% since yesterday and im getting to goal!

Im 5ft 4.5'
On Lipotrim
Start weight was 12st 8lb
Got down to 9st 6lb about 10 days ago
Been bingeing since than :(
Yesterday weighed 10st 5.5
My goal is between 8st 10 and 9st
Bigger goal is to do refeed properly once i finish LT

I know first week back ill lose a good chunk of thst do thats keeping me going. My hubbys doing it with me now and i thought that would help but hes constantly encouraging me to cheat so its actually not doing any favours watsoever and it was easier when he wasnt on it. But i need to learn to not be swayed and make my own choices :)

We were practically the same weight before the binge with roughly the same target! We can get there together. You'll probably be faster than me on LT, but that's ok, I don't mind :):D

What plan are you on blondcat? Well ive dropped 4lbs in one day already!!

I do think LT is one of the quickest ways to lose weight... Its keeping it of thats hard!
 
Kind of a variation on the 5:2 diet.

- 600ish calories two days a week - usually Monday and Tuesday
- 1000ish calories 3 days a week
- 1 cheat day (usually Saturday)
- 1 day at around 1500 (usually Sunday)

I also work out 5 days a week average 600 calories a day.

I like this plan because I can sustain it I think. I don't find it that hard. Most weeks I lose weight and I have been out a crazy amount over the summer. When I'm maintaining I'll obviously have more calories to play with so will be even easier. Although having said that, I went boozing weds, thurs, fri, sat and sunday last week so not holding out much hope for weigh in tomo even though I've been really good today and yesterday!

Do you find going back to normal food easy ? Do you have to start counting calories to make sure you don't go over ?

I used to maintain really well before i got married just watching what i eat and exercising. But since i got married 4.5 years ago i put loads weigh on. I went from 12.4 to 8.6 with LT but never got hang of maintaining, fell pregnant not long after i got to goal... I ate what i want within reason through pregnancy n surprisingly didnt put on much, i just eat wayyyy to much junk. I put weight on after having my daughter ... Shes only 10 months now. I decided to go back on LT as wen i try restrict food i cant seem to find thst balance and the scales just didnt move fast enough for me. So im
On my second whirl of LT and i dont know whAT ill be like once i go back to eating :( my plan is 5:2 to maintain, so plan is 2 fast days (thinking mon n thurs) thsn according to mfp my maintenance cals to maintain 8st 10 are 1600
So the rest of the days 1600 cals and one day at the weekend to enjoy with no counting!!! Being on a vlcd will make fasting easier i hope.

How much have u lost and how long did it take you? Xx

2 good days will have cleared out any weekend naughtiness!!
 
Blondcat we are pretty much the same height!! What size are you at 9st 5? I was a size 12 at 9st 6 at 8st 6 I was size 8/10 but too slim for my build I think. I would love to get to 8st10lb and id be a comfy size 10. Just discussing all the new skinny jeans ill be buying at goal with the hubby.

Hubbys just told me he is cheating this saturday. Well that's his choice and my choice is I wont.

Oh im on my ipad now bc so read all of your stats. Youve done awesoe. Looki g forward to reading your diary.

Well that's an interesting question. When I was this weight 7-8 years ago I was a 12. No question. Now I am a perfect 10 - as in all 10s fit me apart from skirts where I need a 12. This pic will demonstrate why!

I carry a lot more weight in my hips so skirts are a bigger size if I want them to sit loosely on my hips.

I think the reason I am a smaller size this time is because of the exercise and the fact I don't really eat any wheat or sugar so my stomach is quite flat. And I'm not trying to sound like a tw*t but I am quite toned from the toning I do. Defo makes a difference in clothes!! I am far from perfect which is why I'm going for another 11lbs ish off.

I quite like my shape now just want it to be narrower all over!!
 
And I think your idea about the 5:2 is good for maintaining. Let's say we get to 8st 10 - our BMR is likely to be around 1600 calories a day. So if you do 2 * days at 500 you have a 2200 deficit to play with for the rest of the week. I will always need that for my boozy nights out! Plus I will exercise forever which gives me even more calories!
 
Can anyone join this conversation lol @goose. Delighted to see this new thread for your new beginning, even though its your final stretch to your goal. You seem focused, which is great. And your first week you know you will lose a big chunk, then its take one day at a time. And in no time you will pass the finish line :) You can do it, and if hubby wants to cheat, let him, thats his choice! You stick with your plan! We are all cheering you on #gogoose :) xx
@cat. You seem to have a good balance with your diet. And your social life is fantastic! Thats the downside of this diet, it doesn't really make it easy going out and mixing with others :( Love the photo, you look gorgeous Cat :) xx

I agree re toning, because i lost all the weight with LT at 8st 6 i was still wobbly n not toned at all! Exercise tends to stall my weightloss on LT so i never did it last time, i used to love the gym n running but find it hard to get out, my little one keeps me busy and my hubbys quite stubborn with watching her if i want to go out. Hopefully once im back at work, if i can get her in bed by 8.30 so hubby just has to be in house and not 'look after' her i could gym from 9-10 come home shower than bed. Her sleeping is atrocious now n she constantly gets up,.. Dont think hubby could cope with that. But its exercise that gives u that figure!!

Im worried thst once i get to goal lack of exercise will make it hard to maintain. Id quite happily do 5:2 to maintain as im quite used to fasting... Fast from sunrise to sunset for a month every year so been doing it since i was young. I am very nervous about maintaining but we will see

Been really good, motivation not been a problem since the weekend and im so proud of myself thst im still fighting strong on this journey n not giving up, im back in the 9's!! Weighed in at 9st 13 this morning. Love lipotrim!!!

Im thinking of stopping at 9st 7 and working on maintaining for a bit than coming back to lose the last bit. But i have a close family party to go to in October so want to be super slim for then so will probably keep going, if it wasnt for thst i thibk i might have tried to maintain at 9st 7 for a few weeks thsn come back on.

Just gotta take one day at a time

Going out to eat and not worry would be lush and could keep me going forever!! Me n my hubby love going out n trying new places and its kind of our hobby so 5:2 or even dont mind judding if i could continue one day of food enjoyment!!

Awww im so glad you could join me on here Helen!! I do feel like its a new beginning and feel so great and positive!! Not even thought or contemplated cheating since ivd been back on and only got 1st 2 till my original goal of 8.10 so its not much at all. I know i can do this

And i know one day at a time really works for me so must stop thinking about the big picture and just take one day at a time :)
 
that could be a really good idea at maintaining at 9st7 for a while to get back into the habit of eating.

It's so hard with a little one - going to the gym and exercising whilst you have a baby would be a lot of effort and stress I expect - even with a supportive hubbster.

9st 13 is great news!! Knew you'd be back in the 9s this week - well done :)
 
Thanks hun. Ideally i think in the long run that would be the best for me. But just gonna see how it goes n try not too plan too much ... Take it as it comes c

Been 100% do far, went to his mums today, she told me to stay to eat n said tell my hubby to come here straight after work ... He was going to say yes (i texted him to let him know his mum offered, as if i didnt tell him, shed asked later if i asked him or not!!) and i said plz can u say no, dont want to break it so he rang his mum n just told her hes on a low carb diet.

Im 9st 11 this morning, n hubby says he wants me to stop this diet, arghhh. He says ive been on it long enough n wants me to come off soon. I said another 4 weeks and he wasnt happy. He keeps telling me i look fine the way i am but i still feel chubby :( and cant get into some of my old clothes still. I dont want him to make me cheat but he really is not a good influence on me at times.
