I've always been big even as a kid, but after my 20's and working in IT I really put on the pounds.
About 4 years ago I joined a gym and started going 2 to 3 times a week, this made a big difference to my weight and I've dropped 8 inches of my waist with no modification to my diet, although I now have stalled around my current weight of 164kg (361lbs)
I started power lifting training last November and my trainer says to improve my lifting I need to lose more of my belly
So my target it to lose 40kg (88 lbs) without losing any strength in the next 12 months, hope that's not too optimistic.
I'll be following the Slimming World diet.
