Lipotrim- The Beginning, Mddle and End

20/11/14 The beginning! Purchased my first weeks supply of Lipotrim. I was so nervous and unsure when first going into the pharmacy but after the (very brief) consultation with the pharmacist I feel like it was definitely the right action for me to take. I was surprised when the pharmacist advised it was £36 per week as I thought it was a lot more and even more surprised when they gave me an extra £2 off. So all in all £34 for my first week :) Decided on a mixture of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavours and opted out for the chicken soup ( as I've read too many bad reviews).

So the plan is to start tomorrow and weigh every Thursday after that. My weight and BMI are so high I just can't wait to be healthy, look great and feel great. Wish me luck and and tips or comments are welcome xx

Welcome candice!

Can't comment on lipotrom as never done anything like that. 34 is good value compared to some of the others around.

It's pretty hardcore right? Is it just shakes?

I wish you lots of luck - very friendly bunch on this forum

Thanks for the welcome Blondcat. It is pretty hardcore but I think I'm ready. Just need a big boost in weightloss to get me on track. So it's 3 shakes a day and plenty of water. What weight loss plan are you doing at the minute? xx

I do a variation of the 5:2, so 2 days at around 500-700 calories of very healthy food. Then another 3 days at 1000-1200 a day (unless I'm boozing), one day partying / binge / don't care what I eat and sunday usually 1500-2000. But I also burn around 5000 calories a week from exercise. So it's quite an unusual approach but it fits my life style of partial party girl / partial head down career girl

I think you just have to find what works for you :)

Wow that sounds amazing! I'm actually jealous! Lol. I love going out but I'm an all or nothing kind of girl so either all unhealthy food and alcohol all the time or a strict only. Hopefully one day when I get to the weight I want I can have the best of both worlds like you and your right- if it works for you go for it. Although I don't know what I'm going to do when it gets to Christmas party time! x

I'm kind of the same but I can switch day to day. So if I eat crap in the morning of a 500 calorie day I won't stop! But the next day I'll be back on it 100%.

500 cal days are still very tough :-(

One of my friends are doing the same and she fills up in celery, cucumber, water and prawns as they're really low cal- so hopefully that'll help :) in fact I heard you burn Calories a whilst eating celery? Not sure if that's true but hey ho we can do this! Just think of the end goal :) x

Day two and I haven't started yet! I told my fiancé about starting the diet this morning and then he told me about the surprise meal he had planned for tonight (I probably should have told home days ago but I really hadn't decided for definite until actually sitting in the pharmacy yesterday). So I agreed today I'll have a high protein, low fat day (including our meal out tonight's) and the start first thing Saturday. So I'll be back to update my actual day one tomorrow- I'm actually itching to start but in a way happy I'll get to have one more day of chewing!

well done for not writing off today because of the dinner tonight. I often have high protein meals out so I always go for a steak and veggies (leave the potatoes) or fish and eat the potatoes (because lower calories).

let us know how you get on.

Thank you but I didn't last past 3pm! I think it's because I knew I was going out. In the end I just enjoyed my last weekend of freedom and started today. So I've had my first shake which wasn't the tastiest but reading others successes has motivated me to just get on with it! Just can't wait to get past these first few days as I've heard they are the hardest but I've stocked up on water to sip on throughout the day at work so wish me luck :) xx

I'm doing two 500 calorie days today and tomorrow so we can be in the first 48 hours of pain and suffering together!! I need to do it after eating around 8000 calories on Saturday and Sunday - ridiculous behaviour.

So far so good today - plate of egg whites (scrambled) and a coffee with skimmed milk. Two shakes today left over from my detox.

Feeling VERY motivated and confidant I can do it. You can too! Check back in later.

Well done girl, stay motivated! I've had two shakes today so far and 2 litres of water. I could feel myself slipping and thinking is it worth it- but it is. It's all about the results and end game. I had a training day at work today as well which means they provide lunch and offer you chocolate and sweets all day- it was easier than I thought to say no. We can do this!

Well done! Once you get in the habit of saying no at work you won't waiver. It's definitely about the long game - I hit a massive milestone last Wednesday and I cried. And those moments where you fit into clothes that were too small or you find you've gone down a size and it's not just a fluke. That feeling is amazing and lasts for days - way longer than the 30seconds pleasure you get from a jam doughnut

Xx

Hi honey - yes totally. I have a very active social like do I need something I can stick to forever. Doing two very low cal days for me is easy on a mon and tues - I'm always really focused and have no social plans generally - except for next week!!

Also I do another 3 of the week days on relatively low calories - usually 1000. That way I can go a bit wild on the weekend.

It's perfect for me :)

Hey jade, my weigh in day will be a Saturday morning now I think (I planned to start last Friday but didn't start until Monday). How are you getting along with Cambridge? I was going to do Cambridge just for the variety of products.. Sometimes cheaper isn't necessarily the best option but it's ini budget at the minute

So made it to day 2 of Lipotrim. I had mixed emotions yesterday from fear to determination to feeling sorry myself. I'd read you can have the shakes hot so for breakfast so I had the vanilla shake with decaf coffee granules and whisked with a fork. It was by far the worst thing I had tasted in my life! I wasn't expecting it to taste delicious just palatable but I actually felt nauseous! It was so difficult to get down that I felt defeated by the time I got to work at 8.30am.

Then I had a a full day training session at work(which I had forgotten about). So this meant a lunch spread was provided and everyone nibbled away at treats all day. Now after forcing myself to drink that dreadfully first shake I was determined not to give in. So I stayed strong, filled up on water and had my second shake hot but this time the chocolate one. This one was awful too by the slight chocolate flavour made me gag slightly less. For the rest of the day I took sips of water and kept track of how much I was drinking. By 5pm I'd managed 2.2 litres. I didn't have any headaches, fatigue and I wasn't overly hungry- about as hungry as I would be generally at the end of the working day.

I find the hardest part was all the weeing I needed to do! On my way home coming on here and speaking with others really helped me to decide I really need to at least make it to the end of the day. I remember saying to my fiancé that I can handle the hunger but not that my only food supply was disgusting. He encouraged me to try a flavour I hadn't tried cold and blended properly with an electric hand blender- so I did and even though I'd used cold water from the fridge it was like a room temperature strawberry milkshake! I was so happy there weren't any lumps! I added a straw and some ice and I felt like I was in heaven and I realised I can do this. It's all about trial and error as well as perseverance. I could see a slimmer me and I couldn't wait to meet her!

Well done - definitely worth persevering!!

I'm having two shakes today too but I really like the forever living one vanilla one :)
