Hello to you the reader.

As the post title says it's this is my ramblings :D

I have been on the weight loss path since October 14. I was following the SW plan and did well but realised that as much as I love SW I need to have the flexibility to count calories or propoints........This led me to having a fling with WW last week but life has decided to dish me a big dose of maniciness and after 4 days I found counting points became all too much.

I have realised that I do still need a food/weight loss diary. It helps keep me balanced with healthy eating and i love connecting with people :)

I don't want to commit to a thread within the slimming club sub forums as I've realised that there is a possibility that I might chop and change diets :p

I can't promise that I'll be able to commit to being on plan but I will promise I'll post everyday :)

I had a really successful day......

I weighed in and I've lost 1.2lbs whoop whoop :) I'm over the moon as I have a weekly target of 1/2lb loss each week.

I've also decided I'm going to follow Calorie Counting. I need the simplicity and flexibility of diet that allows me to go with the flow when possible.

I've calculated my daily calorie allowance as follows

Maintenance - 1818
1/2lb - 1568
1lb - 1318

I'm going to try and do a 80:20 calorie spread as I typically go over my calories Friday and Saturday

My intention is to spread my calories as follows

Thurs - 1470
Fri - 1818
Sat - 1818
Sun - 1470
Mon -1470
Tues - 1470
Wed - 1470

I'll update my food for yesterday in a bit

That's basically what I do - as you say very flexible and works for a busy, social life ;-)

Hello and thank you. I'm going to really try and stretch my calories with plenty of fruit and veg x

I used to find theses helped; purple sprouting broccoli - salad cress - lettuce - rice cake with I thin 5 mls of both honey and peanut butter as a snack or breakfast x x

I've set it to my maintenance calories for Fri and Sat

I saved 590 calories with food so easily towards my 1lb loss xx

Finding it a lot simpler x still miss SW but sometimes you have to accept a round peg for a round hole.

Just back from my first big dog walk! I've just bought a double lead and it's made walking my doggies so much easier.

With my two doggies though a dog walk is never a stroll lol we always end up more like a march hahaha

I've got out my trusty pedometer and clocked up the following

Steps 5601
Miles 2.52
Calories burnt 216.

So chuffed and great to destress x

I agree Hun I think most ppl end up customising a plan to suit their needs :)

Sp was weird as not like any low carb plan Iv done before - as select lost of things to eat very restrictive and I hated it lol but saying that planning Sunday and just realised it's an sp day without trying - think my way forwards are odd days of it but mostly extra easy x I did like two hebs tho x
 
I have heard that SP has it downfalls...my friend goes to SW classes and her leader said that she wasn't keen. The leader reported feeling tired, having sugar cravings and generally feeling down. The leader explained she did SP as she couldn't expect her class to try something if she hadn't tried it herself.

I huge high five for trying

Wow!! That's exactly what I experienced Hun - a odd day not a problem but think that will be it's lot lol x
 
Hi hun, subscribing to your new diary thinking of going back to CC! Hope other things gets better for you, dieting is hard when other things are going on but I hope your ok.

I am finding it easier especially as hubby is doing long days and it's throwing off family dinners. It's easier to sometimes cook the kids something and then do a grab type dinner
