    Week 1 of Cambridge Diet

    Hi my name is Rachel
This is my first time doing Cambridge, After having a baby 6 years ago and another 11 months ago its time to say goodbye to this 6 years worth of 'baby weight'.
    Im currently at 12st 3lbs.
Ideally i want to get down to 10st 4lbs.
So Day 1 i didnt struggle at all. 3 shakes and about 1.5 litres of water.
Day 2 again no big struggle. 3 shakes and 2 litres of water.
Day 3 felt hungry. 3 shakes and 4 liters of water.
Day 4 today feel so tired and weak also got my mother in law coming over tonight to buy the boys a Chinese (this is where my will power will be tested, its my favorite food)
Feel free to comment anybody, i just mainly need something to focus on when the kids and other half are eating so this what ive dicided to do.

don't get me wrong i like chippy but Chinese is my weakness.
before having my eldest son i was 10st 4lbs that was 6 years ago so to get to that would be amazing but that would still leave me in the bad bmi bracket so i think im going for 9st 7lbs giving me half a stone leeway for when i try and maintain.
my first weigh in is Tuesday, im going to my moms this afternoon so might have a sneaky peek at the scales there (i don't own scales and its killing me)
good luck with fasting, u can do it xx

So day 5 almost complete and i have really struggled today i am soooo hungry, ive had 2 shakes, 2 liters of water and had to have a boiled egg which i gutted about.
I think i need to buy some scales Honey-j i think that always helps you keep track of weight even when not dieting, i think that's where i went wrong, i stopped weighing so had no real idea how much id actually put on.
i did a sneaky weigh in at my moms and looks like ive lost 7lbs so far id be well happy on Tuesday if that is all i lose.
here is to a hopefully not so hungry day 6 tomorrow, back at work so i find it easier when im there.

    xx

    Hey Rach,

Just dropping in to say hi!! I'm starting lipotrim tomorrow which is just the same as Cambridge so will be following your progress!! Given that you're a week ahead of me I'm hoping your diary will give me some motivation and light at the end of the tunnel during the hard times.

I did Cambridge about 4 years ago and was one of the best things I've ever done, however it's a real struggle to get back into it! I've had a few attempts at restarting and only going to do lipotrim because I'm too embarrassed to go back to my consultant lol!

Really hoping I can stick with it this time - the results are soo worth it!!

    Heya burstingattheseams
we will get each other through the hard times as im not doubting there will be many lol, i had to pop to the shops earlier and i rang my sister on the way trying to justify if i get a packet of crisps and eat them before i get home no one would know, she gave me a good talking to and i walked straight past the crisps, ive been so hungry though today hope this hunger passes as the fist 4 days i was fine.
Never be embarrassed hun you are taking the right steps now. Ive not heard of lipotrim is it the same kind of thing with regards to shakes ect?
good luck with day one tomorrow, im sure you will smash it!

    xx

That's good your sister kept you on the straight and narrow! It's too easy to be naughty when nobody's watching!!

I'll find out tmrw but I think lipotrim is just the same as Cambridge (3 shakes etc) I've heard the Cambridge products are a bit nicer though so we'll see!

Resisted the urge to have a 'last super' tonight and had a low carb dinner and lots of water in preparation. Was weird doing the shopping earlier - buying food for the week for my hubby and couple of crates of sparkling water for me 😂😂 Oh joy! Well I've only myself to blame for being back in this predicament!!

Hopefully you'll be totally in ketosis tmrw and not feeling so hungry x

Ooh is this your first weigh in? Can't wait to hear how you get on!
Glad you're not feeling so hungry today. That's me had my first shake so all is well. From memory I probably won't start feeling it until day 3 and 4 x
