I'm back! This time I'm making a new thread because I've changed my approach a bit. Fresh start, etc.


A brief recap:

- Years ago I tried and loved JUDDD, but had to stop doing it because the low calorie days were triggering my migraines
- Very frequent migraines have completely controlled my life for the past 6 or 7 years, making it tough to eat right or exercise
- A year ago I tried Atkins to lose weight and was completely stunned to realize I'd gone an entire month without a migraine
- Low carb seems to agree with me and I get very few migraines these days - I finally have my life back and it feels so good!
- This time last year I started the C25K program and am presently working my way up to running (well, jogging) 10k - yay!
- I have since shifted over from Atkins to keto because it feels slightly less restrictive and I've found amazing resources online


The goal:

- I have less than 50 lbs to lose to hit my goal...it was so much more daunting when it was 70-80 lbs but now I know I can do it!
- I desperately want to hit goal by my 30th birthday in late September. My goal date is September 1, which gives some wiggle room.


The plan:

- I am still doing keto now and intend to stick with it. It seemed radical when I started but I feel great and am sold on it!
- I should have reached my goal by now but I have been cheating too much...so uh, the plan is to stop doing that!
- I've read good things about combining keto with intermittent fasting, so I am giving a JUDDD-like approach another go
- I am continuing on with my running plan and with any luck, will hit 10k at some point in May. Then I'll re-evaluate.
- I'm going to try to incorporate some muscle-building exercise into my routine...squats and weights and stuff. Ouch!


So yep, there we have it. I'm using apps to track my food and running, and will likely incorporate another one for the other training. I might not check in here daily or anything because I've got a lot of other stuff to concentrate on, but I will try to pop in from time to time to give updates! Here's hoping the next time you "see" me here there will be less of me... ;)

Taking a break from all dieting but still having juices quite often.
