Jennie... my only advice to you is this... forget the chicken and the cake.... YOU DID NOT BREAK THE DIET.... no way hosey... if you think like that you will go into defeat mode... you are doing fab... 100lbs

I do hope that you are dealing with your emotional stuff whilst you are doing this diet... it can so easy catch up with you when its time to finish!

    lots of love

Jenni you really are an inspiration to the rest of us. How many of us would have had the willpower not to devour the whole cake??? Well done and pat on the back to you ..... you may have to look for CD for dogs at the end of the diet though!!!

Well done and keep on going!

Thanks all.. sorry to yet again be brief but am trying to prepare for this hour long talk on Thursday evening and hardly know where to start so am going to do a powerpoint of all me pics and will waffle on about those.. that should do a lot of it. Also got a box full of bits and bobs gathered during the voyage (sounds posh eh!) and will have those laid out.

Today been 100% on diet and despite coming home this evening (at 6.15pm) and finding Zoe cooking lamb chops, jacket pots and veg.. (smells divine) .. I avoided the fridge and made a huge steaming mug of summer berry and another of bouillon. Nicely filled up I can save my final pack for later. (I had a muffin before work this morning and a soup before leaving job 1) and think that gave me more energy (along with the sleep) but I was tired by the end of the day and have decided to be in bed by 10 no matter how far I get with the Cruise thing.

Thanks again all for bearing with me during this phase of my loony life!

Gen - yes, am dealing with the emotional issues all the freakin time hon , lol, so no danger of it all coming up and biting me on the arris at the end of this! (whenever that might be..). But ta for the lovin' warning.

Will be back again tomorrow evening for a few mins. Cheers for now xxxxxxx

    Hiya Jennie

My goodness what a life you lead - I'm tired just reading your posts

You're doing brilliantly - a bit of chicken and a mouthful of cake (spat again too) is not breaking your diet. You have been incredibly strong willed and got through some very difficult times without resorting to food, so continue to feel immensly proud of all your achievements.

Glad the new job's going well, it always takes a while to settle in, but I'm sure you'll soon feel right at home there.

Take care, & try & take some time to relax (I don't know if you're familiar with that word? )

    xx

    Wednesday

    Hi MD

I do know the word but at the moment cannot quite work out the definition

Another crazy day today - dog woke me at 5.30am!! So I was awake! Stripped bed, washed it all , hung it on line, emptied dishwasher, showered, dressed, had a toffee & walnut muffin with husks for brekky (yummy!!) spent almost 2 hours working on tomorrow nights powerpoint presentation/talk, emailed festival stuff, fed animals, tidied up kitchen a bit, then set off and got to work on time for 8.30, been in a meeting all morning, finally got rid of last straggler 5 mins ago - necked down my spicy tomato soup and am about to head off to the post box en route to job 2!

Should be home around 6.15 (traffic permitting) but need to drop off a letter on the way home and pick up a job app form for Zoe for the Co-Op, also need to buy some more diet ambrosia custard pots. She lost another 5lbs this week! (she's losing more than me now! lol).. that makes 9lbs in a fortnight and she's dead chuffed and I'm so proud of her too! It's lovely - it means she won't need to buy new clothes for her hols in May. (relief all round!!)

Will be doing the talk thing until it's done tonight (but really need to be in bed by 11 or won't be fit to do the flippin talk by 7.30pm tomorrow night!). So.. no relaxation until after work Friday - then I plan a mega slob out on the sofa... big deep hot bubble bath as soon as home, into pj's and watch telly all evening. Bed by 10pm and not going to rush to get up Saturday morning. Then I can think about Saturday... lol

Will hopefully catch up on here properly over the weekend. Am going to a gig on Saturday night to see that lovely singer/songwriter Martyn Joseph (the one in my pics) and will be sure to get a new pic taken for comparison! Looking forward to it all, and not driving either which will be more relaxing too.. front row seats an all!! can't wait!!! lol

Hope you're having a lovely day.
    xxxxxxxx

hey Jennie,be kin to yourself.I know you've been absolute about the SSing, but as I see it you ate 200cal worth of lean protein & no more.this was after your 2nd day of working both your jobs.
i reckon if you'd gone to CDC before doubling your work load & said what do I do if i get tired.she would have said either have an extra shake or have a small chicken & spinach/broccoli meal. what this actually means is you forgot to have your greens!!!!!!!!

CD Start date 9.1.07 CDss is really quite fun (I think it makes me high..shhh don't tell anyone or it'll be made illegal)... though it can get just a little dull after a while.

just quickly hopping on to wish me mate Mich a fabberoonie birthday and to say I'm still in the land of the living - just! Got the presentation ready (well almost) for tonight.. can't believe they've called it... "Cruising with Jennie" so... will let you know how it goes. Finally crawled into bed around 1am (having remembered to get bedding off washing line, shoved it in drier for 10mins, remade bed.. laid out clothes and stuff for today.. so.. up at 6.3) this morning, took Zoe to college and been at work for over half an hour so far. Very tired but glad the talk thing is done.. just got to set things up and I'll be fine.

Afternoon job going great, had a chat with boss and have lots of ideas and she's dead keen! So that's good.

After work today it's a quick dash home for a soup and a shower and then back to the church an hour later to do the talk then, hopefully, home and in bed by 10.30pm.

Don't have to take Zoe in the morning so can lay in until 7.15 tomorrow and get to work for 8.00 and, after joob 2 tomorrow, it's off to the printers to collect the programmes and posters and THEN when I get home... R E L A X for the evening (unless of course the pub has something planned for Comic Relief.... ) lol Diet going well, actually looking forward to Monday night's weigh in although do feel bloated - have completely lost track of when TOTM is due so that will be a 'pleasant' surprise whenever that happens!!! I tried trawling back in my (minimins) diary but just can't work it out.. lol Really need to write it down in my normal diary!!

Hopefully on Monday I'll crack that 16 barrier and then will be firing off an email to start organising the parachute jump!!! even the thought of it has me all excited! lol Right - gotta run... have a great day all xxxxx

oooh.. forgot to say... I seem to have developed a habit of fridge scouring (visually) at the moment.. I keep opening it to see what there is inside and then touching things.. like the pack of curly-wurlies that's in there at the moment - although Zoe has said she doesn't want any more chocolate now, so that's good... (she chose to get it in the first place!).

So... as soon as the last 2 are gone.. that temptation will be erradicated too! Must remember to get food for her this weekend... and for the dog too... oh.. and return those jeans.... and get the dog's 2nd vaccination done 1st thing Sat am... and do festival mailing labels... and.. and.. and.....

Will try to catch up tonight but have to work on my talk for Thurs! First afternoon at new job went very well -feel much more positive about it now. Chuffed about the 100lbs off but have confession to make about after last post!

Went to fridge and ate approx 200cals of chicken, gave the rest to dog and put a sliver of cake in mouth and immediately spat it out (yukk.. dog got that too).. the moment it was in my mouth I was screeching in my head "what the F are you doing????" so.. it went.. instantly! Chicken prior to that was totally an emotional reaction to something. No excuses. Broke the diet. Ate chicken. Didn't devour the whole pack but could've! Thank GOD I have a dog! He was very pleased! I've asked Zoe not to bake any more cakes at the moment and if she does to not leave them in fridge. Not her fault - totally mine. Glad I didn't eat it but was damn close! Had spent the day around food and was very very very tired and a bit emotional after Pub Quiz and visits to friends. So.. totally back on track yesterday morning. Not beating myself up but very very wary now that this is dangerous territory. Last night when got in from jobs (6.30pm) I dealt with festival business then took a deep hot bath, got into me pj's and snuggled up on sofa. Had a lovely long chinwag with a gorgeous mate. Then went to bed and (had put leccy blanky on an hour earlier) slept like a log (and through the alarm!) but woke up feeling very good at 6.30 in time to run Zoe to college this am, and get into office for 8.30 (just). Off to next job at 12 so literally hopped on here to update a tad. THanks for ALL good luck messages. Means a lot to me. I'll get to reply to all these wonderful messages by the end of the weekend and will update on my sis, my mate who had stroke and my ever-manic life! Lots of love xxxxx
    Hey Jens,

Well done you for admitting to your chicken and cake thing. ((hugs)). You're still in ketosis, you've done NO damage at all.

Was the 100Ibs a major milestone for you? Did you mentally exhale? Possibly thats what happened? Anyway, yo're back on track and those steel balls you have haven't melted. (you must tell me where you bought them from! )

Dahlink .... you are doink so vell. Only 6 more stone to go .... and a Barbajan Holiday to reward you for your efforts thus far. How fab! September tis the time.

Nope - I just opened the fridge and fancied the chicken, had felt crappy because of something, and ate it - nothing deeper than that. Nothing to do with reaching any kind of loss.

Thanks hon... I hope Sept is the time, but there may be a re-think on the target as I get closer - it depends on how the skin is hanging and how I feel and what size clothes I'm in... I can't see me shifting the goalposts though... but who knows! I think I might just be obese now as opposed to morbidly obese.. not sure ... will have to check with Ailsa - unless one of you lovely ladies can help me out?

Yes indeedy Jennie, your BMI now puts you in the obese category, no longer morbidly obese, which health wise is absolutely brilliant.

Only on here as needed to check something... off to have soup and muffin before facing 'my audience'!!! Just had a call to say there will be about 30 women there!!! Glad I don't eat food or I would have a jippy tum right now! Hopefully the adrenalin will take over the fatigue (didn't get home tonight until 6.15pm! and was up way too late doing the ppt BUT it is all done and I hope they like it and if they don't - ah well! lol)

Will do my best to catch up soon. xxx Going to bed as soon as I get back tonight and then I should be fresh in the morning again. Good news - festival programmes and posters are all printed and they are going to bring them to me instead of me trying to bring them here! How fab is that! I love our printers!! They're peachy! So this time tomorrow I shall have a mountain of boxes with 22k programmes crammed into my spare front room (must make some space in there!!!!!) Forgot the dog food and the Zoe food but did remember the jobs paper for her and to pick her up on my way home (although had to turn car around to do so as forget initially_... eyes stinging and look like a bag of shi*e but still standing and will keep on trucking til bed time (Zoe has strict 'on with the blanky' instructions for 9.45pm!!!) xx t'ra fer now x
