Have you tried playing with protein/carb ratios? Often low calorie diets are high in carbs and that can make one more hungry...if you hit a plateau again it's worth a try to up the protein and lower the carbs (apart from the complex ones which will be smaller portions), as you can eat more calorie wise and still lose fat/weight.

yep abz that's why it's not something i'm keen on continuing. nex i'm wary of cutting down carbs too much because of the problems the aitkins diet caused me. however, you make a good point so i may try lowering my carb intake a bit

right today i had the 186.6 cereal
264 tasty carrot and humous sandwich
    35 pinapple, yum yum
    47 apple...
    -------
    532.6

Not bad methinks. We'll see what i'll have later. The one bad thing with this is that i'm thinking about food MUCH more, i'm a bit like a druggy wondering when her next hit is coming. It's making me quite uncomfortable, but hopefully it'll have been worth it. x

Calorie counting makes my head hurt literally...Well done you for keeping it up, it would drive me dilly...I just use the gym to balance it all out for me now...

Ah yeah Atkins is weird for some, but you don't have to take your carbs too low to make a difference or change...

well i think i came just over 1000 abz. the scales still say 12st 11 though :S and this fewer cals thing has made me feel a big groggier and seems to be upsetting my stomach/digestive system even more lol, though I can't think why to be fair. in all honesty i was having stomach cramps from last sunday so its not necessarily to do with this. i think my main problem is not drinking enough water, so i have a 750ml bottle that im getting through now and i shall buy a litre one with my lunch today.

tonight im going to meet my friend for a catch up and some dinner at beefeater. I think it might do me good to have a proper dinner, i've lived on soup for the past few nights. obviously i will try and pick the healthiest thing on the menu, and i rarely eat everything on my plate when i'm out and more concious about what im putting in my mouth. so im hoping it will just end up being a bit of a kick for my metabolism. If you calculate it, so far this week i have cut down my weekly cal intake (that i should be getting) by 1800 cals, if you take it that ive been having 1000 a day, and apparently my body needs 1600 cals a day (or that would be how much it would burn if i lay in bed all day). it's all very interesting but a bit too mathematical if you ask me lol. x

yeah. i wont be eating overboard, something veggie cos i'm not eating meat at the moment, no starter or pud.

so, today's round up so far:

    186.6 Usual brekkie

285 Fresh beetroot, cream cheese, ginger and pumpkin seed
sandwich with spinach, it may sound weird but it was well
    tasty.

65 shapers hula-hoop type crisps. i've gone crazy on the fruit in
the last few days, needed something else lol.

    536.6 altogether.

Or - women are best cos we need less to keep us going. We're stronger people. Plus women have twice as many pain receptors as men. Isn't it strange that we feel pain worse but complain less?! hmmm:P

lol chick i think the oodles (of noodles) of walking you were doing counts as exercise!
