I'm away for a couple of days so can't see me sticking ridgedly to it plus that will take the fun out of going away.

I'm going for damage limitation though

Had a good time away. Was good in that I didn't have chips when we went to Burger King but had a lovely curry and naan bread and a pint of lager the night before !

Have been working funny shifts so haven't followed my plan as much as I should have but will be back on track tomorrow.

It's going ok. No lbs lost this week but lost 3 inches so I'm not complaining.

I gave myself some leeway because we were out doing things and I didn't do the 4 workouts that I'm trying to do each week but I'm hoping for a loss next week.

I've also joined the September challenge (only aiming for 7lb) but I'll take it half a stone at a time.

Well done about the 3 inch loss even if you didn't get a weight loss to go with it. That will come soon with the muscle you are building from the exercising.

Good Luck with your September challenge.

    You can do it.

Another 2lb off this week and 1.5 inches (my weigh-in should be Monday but I think I'll change it to Friday now to give me some lee-way over the weekend!)

    Thanks alot

I'm just wondering now if I'm giving myself too much leeway and am going to revert to "Oh I'll just have this, oh I'll just have that "

I'm going out for a meal tomorrow to an indian where they do a buffet. I know I'm going to eat too much because it's so scrummy. I think that on Monday I'll have to be more strict with myself.

Just eat slowly and listen for your body telling you that its full. It's really important not to over eat, and remember you're allowed a treat every once in a while. It's unrealistic to put your life on hold for a diet. Just be sensible.
    Enjoy your meal!!!

I was really good yesterday when we went out. I didn't stuff myself, in fact I didn't even go up for seconds, which is unheard of !! I really enjoyed what I ate and didn't feel uncomfortable afterwards.

I just don't want to get back into my bad habits of snacking too much since my meals and really improved and I've been making such an effort to cook and eat vegetables. I ned to keep it up.

High protein/low carb definitely suits me.

    Good on you Caws,
that is great when you have a good experience with a food situation that you know that you have not been good at handling before.

I hit the biscuit tin last night

I didn't eat the whole packet but I had about 6 and then felt sick (they were hobnob creams)

I gave in to the kids when I bought them because we haven't had any in the house for 4 or 5 weeks so I think I'll go back to not buying them. The kids can have something else !
