LOL, I know how you feel, that's why I like Atkins, I eat loads but still manage to maintain, but if I have a carby splurge, I put on loads.

well i have ordered a ham salad sandwich for my lunch. so that's that taken care of since i seem to have left my wallet at home. so i don't have much option, ha. it also scuppers our potential plans for going shopping for wedding and honeymoon things straight after work as the card for the wedding account is in it... doh!! ah well. i'm shattered in any case and i would imagine thomas is too, so that can be another night's job... will have to tidy the study tonight instead. it's full of junk. i'm sure thomas is going to be thrilled three people are supposed to be sleeping in there on saturday night.... you can barely get through the door at the moment!!

Well I've only got one teenage girl coming tomorrow but with 2 rooms jam-packed with junk - not only ours but from the kids as well (even though they've been left home for years) and from my mum's flat a year ago it's a job and a half. I'm picking her up from the station at 2pm tomorrow - I'm really looking forward to seeing her as I haven't seen her since February. She's only staying for one night, joining us for my mate's birthday party tomorrow evening and then we're travelling to Wales Thursday for her younger sister's birthday. Good luck with your clean up - I'm fed up with mine already x

i'd momentarily forgotten about it, but now it's back!! ha.

also just got a call from thomson. they made a mistake when booking our holidays and owe us £27. so woo. ha.

have also been trying to work out whether we get a better exchange rate on kroner than we do on pounds for the euro. my brain went a bit fttz when taking into account the exchange rate from the kroner to the pound, but basically the pound is so crap that i don't think kroner can fail to be better, so even with my dodgy calculations i'm almost certain it's a resounding yes!!

    AAAAAAAAARGH.

I need help with my wedding cake. i was going to buy three cheapy cakes and stick one on top of another and there we go. cake. however of course, thinking about it, it will need supports. i have no clue whatsoever on how to stack cakes, where to shove rods, that kind of thing. and i was going to put some kind of thingummy in between layers (you can tell i know my stuff can't you) to make the cake look bigger and that makes it even more complex... aaargh!!

does anyone know what they are doing enough to help me? am off to message minz!! ha.

On my avatar is my cake Abz & we just had some foil between the 2 so it wasn't the traditional tiered cake but had the same affect. x

i have been told that even what they are just placed one on top of the other they need rods in them so one doesn't sink into the other...

    and it's a gorgeous cake!!

the reason i was going to put bits in between (not columns, a cube or something) was because if i get asda cake the cakes are only 5cm wide so the cake would only be 15cm high = mini-cake... how tall was yours?

Can't remember to be honest.. maybe 12 inches high?

I wonder if we had something magic so they didn't sink coz there was definately no rods in them!! Maybe we just got lucky glad I didn't know about that before now!!

We also had a cake made from different cheeses as hubby is a cheese monster!! Was good with french bread for the evening reception!
