well here is my news. IT'S A GIRL

well, she was 80% sure and they usually say that to cover themselves really. i'm not one for pink really so it won't affect what i buy that much, but if it's a boy it may end up with slightly girlie baby grows hee.

Congrats Abz ....my house went pink mad when I had Katie I think having two boys b4 her made it worse .....

i'm not that keen on pink jenny so hopefully there won't be too much of a pink explosion, although i did have pink candystripe wallpaper when i was about eight... ha.

as for names, well i thought of isobel yesterday and thomas really likes that one, so that's now on our list and top of thomas's i think. we also like lily, and matilda (although that's my mum's favourite and she's really pushing for it) and eva (eeeeva) which is actually danish yet pronouncable by english folk which helps

i think initial clothing etc won't be much of a problem. it's all babygroes and if i have a boy and it ends up in a babygrow with a fairy on it, then so be it, but i'll probably just get ones with animals etc on, and then it doesn't matter and i'll splash out a bit more when everything is definate buying proper clothes for teeny babies tends to be more trouble than it's worth from what i've heard. and the border i've seen for the nursery could be for either a boy or a girl, so again, it doesn't matter

going to have to get used to calling my tummy 'she' now

You might as well buy the basic babygrows as you'll find so many people will buy you little outfits for the baby that I ended up with some outfits never getting worn before the baby had grown and was too big ....
