    Abi's weightloss diary - couch to 5k!!

Hey guys. Since cambridge doesn't seem to be treating me in the way it's supposed to i've moved up to the 1000 plan in the hope all the hormones will get straightened out and i'll start losing weight again.

it's my first day and i feel like i've never had to fit so much food in!! ha. i'm under strict orders not to deviate from the plan so that if i still don't lose weight they know there is some other factor involved. so today i have chosen the fruit option from my breakfast menu as i was out and about so i have had a cambridge bar and then a portion of grapes and two medium sized apples from that. then for lunch i've just had a tetra and added my veg from my lunch to my evening meal as it was the only way to fit it in as i was busy all morning and i am working 1-11pm tonight. am having a chicken breast with brocolli and mushrooms and sweet potato for tea and another apple for dessert (i really need to get a wider variety of fruit!! i didn't have chance yesterday. that's tomorrow's plan)

to be honest it feels like an amazing amount of food when i'm eating it but when i look at it on a plate it scares me to death how much more than that i used to eat!! i know that this is still a restricted diet, and hopefully (all things being well now i'm out of ketosis) i should still lose about 2.5lbs a week doing this, but i would have thought my throat had been cut previously. it has really highlighted the astronomical portions i must have been eating!! argh...

so yes. i thought i would log the ups and downs and results of this. but after ssing i feel like i'm eating like a king

thanks guys. i've actually managed to work my way through it all except for one apple, which i'll probably have later as i'm at work for another 2 and a bit hours then home and straight to bed, ha.

i am definately feeling more chirpy now hormonally. this is two days in a row where i've only had a short fuse. i haven't had a fuse at all for quite some time now, ha. poor OH has been suffering and yesterday was commenting that i was much happier

if that's what pmt is usually like people can stick it. i've been a permanent monster!!

    Hey Abz

Glad that its suiting you, i'm moving onto the 1000 tomorrow also. Must admit am disapointe as have worked myself into a frenzy about having shredded wheat for brekkie rather than my choc mint shake (is the only flavour i 'do') to find my cupboards are bare of shredded wheat/porridge/museli GOD DAMN!!!

Did you find if there were any other recipes that you can have other than those listed in the book?

thanks guys. i do feel much more upbeat, much less hormonal and more able to face the world. i was starting to sink into a very low and blue place that i didn't want to be in and it was all hormonal i think. and like i've said before, i've never really been hormonal, or on the occasions i have been i've been able to restrain myself... not so. i'm so chilled and laid back usually so this drove me mad!!

i've had my final apple and two litres of water and a couple of coffees. so haven't quite made it on the water front today but there will have been moisture in my food so i don't feel too bad about it. will make sure i have more tomorrow.

i get to leave work. finally!! ha. catch you all tomorrow. good luck on 1000 in the morning lynn. have a boiled egg and some toast instead

well lynn. how was this morning? you struggling with food choices yet?

well i'm working the 1-11 shift again tonight - oh my word. something huge just came through the letter box... i'm going to have to investigate. one sec... oh. how disappointing. it's a slater's menswear catalogue... ha. right. so. a bar down for brekkie. i really need to do better on the water front today so here comes three litres!! i'm nearly a 75cl bottle down already so that's good

have no clue what my menu is going to be like today. haven't even thought about it yet, ha. have a slight headache which is irritating me. i hope it doesn't develop into something horrid before work

i have a friend popping over for a coffee later on this morning. it will be nice to have a catch up.

ooh. and i have bought myself an amazing jacket. well. i've ordered it. ha. this one: The Dark Angel : Exquisite fairytale clothing and i really hope it turns up before my holidays in about 10 days or so...

well i was feeling a little munchy today. i think my body has gotten used to being fed again... so i had my dinner a leetle early... ah well. i still have an apple to get me through the evening shift. have also realised that on the 1000 plan i'm allowed carbonated drinks and tea and coffee are INCLUDED in my drinks allowance... so i haven't been as bad on the fluids as i thought!! also might have to go and get some coke zero in at some point. only allowed no calorie carbonated drinks, ha. also allowed squash now too but still have plenty of water flavouring left so that's no probs... it suddenly seems much easier. i still want to get through at least 2 litres of just water a day though, which i already have today. and i don't plan on stopping soon. might get that coke zero though

    abz xx
