It is worth it, you will grow to love the gym, it's those pesky endorphins, they are seriously better than you know what (well not really, but almost)...good luck! And running for a mile and a bit is awesome...way to go and keep it up! I could only run for 2 minute bouts to begin with...

    Mini fitness challenges/targets

    Weston Prom 5km - April 16th
Octathalon JJB Bristol - May 2nd 12 mins 32 secs
    Bristol 10km - May 10th 58 mins 19 secs
Race for Life Bristol - June 14th
Indoor Rowing Marathon 42km JJB Bristol - August 15th
Bristol Half Marathon - September 6th
    Octathalon Cup - October 10th/17th

I'm raising money for St. Peter's Hospice by running the Bristol 10km, the Bristol Marathon and my own indoor rowing marathon...

I am also running the Race for Life in Bristol on June 14th...All is in memory of my mother who died of colon cancer in 2004 and of course to help those who now need treatment, etc.

I already really like it. I prefer it easily over sitting in during the evening.

Sorry, wasn't over a mile...was over a kilometre. But that is good enough for me!

I'm piping at the Armistace parade today so going to give the gym a miss and go tomorrow night. The two days in a row has left my legs and arms quite sore anyway so a wee recovery day is alright!

Well I was meant to WI today. But got soaked on Saturday night and frozen yesterday and spent last night and today with the cold. Still gragged myself in to work.

Minus hot drinks rather than water I haven't done anything different from normal but I aint WI-ing today simply as I'm going in, eat my wee heart out then going to bed full and ready for a big sleep.

Hopefully will feel better tomorrow, everyone in the office is just in shrits as normal and I have my massive jacket on!

There are worse things you could OD on lol

Everyone seems to be coming down with it at the moment, that time of year sadly.

You're right. Mind you they say no more than 4 a day. I had 5 yesterday and 3 today...I wonder if going by the law of averages is ok
