    thank you so much guys, had a real panic moment there when i got in with my chinese and choc supply and couldnt work any of it out!!!

    In the end i had the crunchie for 4 points.
    1/2 a chicken fried rice for 5 points
    1/2 a s&s sauce for 1.5 points
    and a sweet n sour chicken hong kong style for 9 points (eating out guide says 7, the other one says 10 so I opted for 9!!!
    This was all I had eaten all day so it sounds a lot but was okay....
    thank you again for coming to my rescue with it all!!!

    Curry recipes

    I only have these. Hope they help they both taste yummy ;-)

    The orange recipe is a syn free Extra Easy Recipe- and the Green one is free on a green day ;-)


    Spicy chicken, spinach and potato
    curry
    Syn free
    Ingredients
    1 onion, peeled and finely chopped
    794g/1lb 12oz skinless and boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite size pieces
    4 large potatoes, peeled and cut large into bit sized pieces
    170g/6oz baby leaf spinach, roughly chopped
    2 tbsp medium or hot curry powder
    400g chopped tomatoes
    Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    A large handful of chopped coriander and mint
    Method
    1. Place a large, non stick frying pan over a medium heat. When hot add the onion, chicken,
    potatoes, spinach and curry powder and stir to mix well. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
    2. Add the chopped tomatoes and 397ml/14 fl oz of water and bring to the boil. Cover, reduce the
    heat to low and cook gently for 25-30 mins, or until the chicken and potatoes are cooked through
    and tender.
    3. Remove from the heat and season well with salt and black pepper. Stir in the chopped herbs and
    serve immediately.
    Curry In A Hurry
    (Serves 4)
    Green Day Sin Free
    Ingredients:-
    2 Cloves garlic
    2 grated carrots
    Half a cabbage
    1 tsp finely grated ginger
    1 tbsp hot or medium curry powder
    400g tin chopped tomatoes
    60ml vegetable stock
    2 tbsp sweetener
    60g natural yoghurt or Quark/fromage frais
    1 tbsp chopped mint
    1 tbsp chopped coriander
    Method:-
    Chop the onions and crush the garlic. Spray a frying pan with Fry Light
    and place on heat - add the vegetables, onion, garlic, and ginger and fry
    for one to two minutes before adding curry powder.
    Stir and cook for another couple of minutes then add tomatoes,
    sweetener and stock. Bring to the boil and reduce heat to simmer gently
    for 12-15 minutes.
    Blitz the sauce in a food processor or with a hand blender, and return to
    heat. Heat gently then add quark/yoghurt/fromage frais and herbs.
