    Back on the old points! Looking for support

    Helloooo

    well back again! Dug all my old WW stuff out having previously lost 5 stone on it therefore I am confident on the old points. Sadly marriage and 2 kids gave saw it all go back on. Heartbroken isn't the word. I'm on maternity leave now until August so need to get in gear! I wanna try and shift at least 3 and a half stone by then if not more! My sim is to get the full 5 off again!

    I plan on starting back on old points on 2nd January. Pro points didn't work for me at all, I was up and down like a yo yo no matter what I did!! Xx

    I'm actually wondering if I should do this, I'm starting back on ProPoints tomorrow for the 2nd time. The first time I was on it for a couple of months but didn't really lose anything and was completely confused, yet when I tried the old style discover plan about 10yrs ago I lost 4st, in about 8mths. Just don't want to waste my time doing the propoints when I know the old system worked for me. The only problem is working out all the points, not sure if I've still got my calculator and books anywhere, will have a dig around tomorrow. Good luck with your weight loss though Xx

    Hi Katrina how are you finding it? Have you got all info on the old system, that's the only thing that concerns me, but it definitely makes sense to go back on this as I found it relatively easy to lose the weight

    Yeah I have all my old books etc. I'm finding it good. I'm just trying to get back into a routine as I was on propoints before and was binging on the weeklies so trying to overcome all the cravings etc. I haven't lost any as of yet, only been on it for 2 weeks and xmas was last week and was sort of in control but totm was still aroind last week and had gained 1.5lbs. Will soon come off though. But I a€ really happy amd more in control with this plan good luck x

    Hi everyone!
    I hope I can join in with you all too!?. I am starting back to the old points system tomorrow & I'm really looking forward to it. I was going to start in October and tried calorie counting instead, which really didn't work out too well for me. I have the old books and calculator and I know I have lost weight on it before, so I have no excuse!. I am so embarrassed about the Christmas photos..and the photos from my Summer holiday..and I have promised myself that it's not going to happen this year.
    I'd love to hear what you all cook on the plan and what snacks you enjoy. I'm in work today so I am going to write a sneaky shopping list here and then hit the shops tomorrow for lots of healthy food.

    Hi all, I've started back on the old points plan today. I tried the new one last year and just found it impossible as I was so hungry all the time. Lost 2 1/2 stone in the past on the old points so its time to do it again.

    21lb to lose in time for my second amateur burlesque show in the Spring, should be a challenge but possible if I'm really good.

    Any advice or support greatly appreciated!

    Hello!..How's everyone getting on today?. I feel like I've fell in to the old routine easy enough. I sat down this morning with my new 'tracker' (notepad from the pound shop!) and planned my day ahead. I'm only on my second glass of water so I need to push myself with that but otherwise, going good. I ordered a Zumba game for the WII so I'm waiting for that to arrive. I never counted exercise points before-do you?. When my son goes back in to school next week, I plan on walking him every morning, dropping him off & continuing for a good hour walking.
    Hope you're all having a good day..even though it oddly feels like a Monday!

    Awesome you all sound like your doing great. I'm plodding along as I had a setback. But food wise I'm doing awesome and staying within points! I love doing zumba its really fun. I turn the music up loud and shut my curtains lol I'm in my own night club minus alcohol lol.

    Haaaa..after Christmas, I really couldn't look a another glass of alcohol at the moment!. I will also be closing the curtains..don't want to give the neighbours a shock at the sight of all the wiggly bits.

    Haha that's another reason why I shut the curtains- my neighbours would call the evironment agency or rhe zoo to say there's a wild red hippo bouncing around in someones house lol!
