So I'm back...

Hules

Hey everyone, I've been awol for a few weeks due to lack of mojo and a most amazing holiday in South Africa. Back now though after a couple more weeks of total 'off the wagon'ness - (actually I've been totally out of control! :S)
Anyway, I've managed 3 full days of pointing so far and am feeling SO much better already. I've got quite a few things coming up - including a big birthday and a cycling holiday, so I've got to get a grip!
So how's everyone else doing? I feel like I need to chat to other weight watchery peeps x

I've been the same Hules although not for such exciting reasons. (south africa you lucky thing!)

I'm restarting today, tried going back to propoints at a meeting but it never went well. The extra weeklies drove me mad. Honestly i wish id never tried the PP plan in the first place. Weeklies have ruined my diet perspective.

Well done for 3 days back on track. Week 1 will be done before you know it :D

I know what you mean, a regular routine of knowing exactly how many points you are supposed to have makes me less likely to binge (my main problem). I can't cope with 40 odd points that I can eat when I like and I can't go back to low days easily after I've had high one, I don't feel satisfied. Can't spread extras out either for some reason? ? Discover is right for me anyway. I've tried them all but this seems to work best with my personality.

I've done well again today -even said no to butterscotch tart!- but we're off camping tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous that I'm going to blow it!

How's your day gone hun?

Enjoying my weekend a wee bit more than i should really! :D

Difference being though im not worried. I know i'll get back on track 1st thing tomorrow and will be till WI friday morning.

Im a binger too so the extra 49 gave me an excuse i didnt really need. They could be spread out over the week but i tended to save em till the weekend and went stupid. Least on Discover i know my limits.

Hiya both, well, I lost it. I kind of coped on the first day camping but had to have one meal there which was limited. I chose a bean burger, jacket and salad - it actually was worse than my hubbys cheese burger and chips. The bean burger looked deep fried! And I forgot to say no butter on the spud :( I never recover when I go over so then sun and today have been rubbish too. I need to put it behind me and try to stick to my points properly from tomorrow. I was so proud of myself too, had lost 4lbs in 3 days but have now put 2 of that back on *sigh*.

Get back on track tomorrow. As you said you tried to make the most of a not ideal situation. Those 2 lbs will be gone in no time and you'll feel so much better for getting back on track.

I've not had a good weekend to be fair. I know where i've gone wrong though, need to keep weekend treats to a minimum and going to try and avoid takeaways completely next weekend. See if i can break one of my bad habits.

We can do this!

We can! I REALLY want to! I just fall off and for a bit its really hard to get back on again! Anyway, I've woken up positively and I'll go weigh in in a sec. It's shop day today too to so hopefully I can make some healthy choices and not buy ANY rubbish-even for the kids!

So I went right back to where I started, in fact I put on half a pound! Arrgh!
