Morning all,

well after stopping last time i stepped back from diets completely for a while to clear my head. I think its helped a bit but only time will tell i guess. My weight has gone up again i've noticed but need to focus on it going down now not up.

Hope you've all been doing really well with your diets :)

Yay! Welcome back hun. Sometimes you just need a break to kind of reset everything in your head. For me though, it's getting back on that is hard so it's lovely that you're back! What's your plan? have you started again yet?

Starting this morning with discover. Taking it 7lbs at a time and go from there. 1st goal is getting through each day till week 1 is done, then a week at a time. No long term goals just yet.

I needed to completely step back from everything, the binges were building up to something so big in my mind that they eclipsed the weight loss. Not a good thing.

I see you've managed back on plan for 6 weeks, well done you!:girlpower:

Thanks :) Had a few wobbles but really, really want to do it so still going (and trying to avoid losing it again today). I like how fierce the little girl power smilie is :D

So how's your first morning gone then? First target definitely need to be to stay on plan for the first day, then the first week. What day are you going to have weigh-in on?

Monday i think, then i'll have to behave over the weekend.

First morning has gone ok so far, having lunch in a mo. Fancying a cup a soup with some bread for dipping. Yum!

Its good you're not letting the wobbles stop you, i need to learn this!

I'm only just learning this myself. I now know that even a little deviation means I will wobble for at least an extra day, but then I can get back on it! Well done for making it half way on your first day! I made BNut and pear soup yesterday which was yum so might have some in a bit for a snack. I'm doing the old core plan at the moment to curb my snacks and force me to make sensible meal choices (rather than eat all my points in snacks and then have to find a dinner for 3 points!). I'm really enjoying it too. Going to have (quorn) sausages and tomato pasta for tea, which I'm really looking forward to and I'm trying to avoid bread, not easy, but I do feel better for it.

Welcome back to the discover club! It's true, sometimes dieting can just get too much sometimes, that you completely go off track. It's good that you're back in the zone though, and focusing on the small goals first! That's what I have been doing, and I've noticed that I rarely want to binge now, as the bitesized chunks, so to speak, are easier for me to digest. So to speak. :D

Sorry i was quiet yesterday but it was my daughters 6th birthday. The cake didnt bother me but the buffet food did! Why does my brain seem to want multiple plates of yummy quiche and ham sarnies?! To be fair though it was bloody lovely and i enjoyed every bit of it. Back on track today though.
