:D:D well, after discovering simply filling by accident i was so pleased as i hate counting points for everything, i have stuck to it 100% this week, drank lots of water, used a breakfast sized plate and only eaten til satisfied (its hard to leave food on a plate) but having done paul mckenna before i know i can leave food when i'm full just usually i choose to ignore it lol. i have used 31/49 of my weeklies and made sure i have used the two tsp of olive oil a day, here a selection of the dinners i have been having through the week, breakfasts and lunches are pretty much the same during the week

breakfast - 30g porrige oats with fresh blackberrys & tsp golden syrup

lunch - either homemade soup or beans on two toast (ww bread)

dinners - lamb shank & carrots

pollock fish fillet with coating of flour, salt & pepper fried in the 2 tsp of olive oil, carrots & new potatoes (2pp)

roast beef fillet, carrots, sweetcorn, half a tiny yorkie, gravy, homemade soup, & merangue, with greek yoghurt & strawberrys (mothers day 5pp)

homemade beef burger 100g half a wholemeal pitta bread &20g cheese, with left over carrots, new potatoes & baked beans fried up with chilli in 2 tsp of olive oil (9pp)

forgot the rest but they were mostly free,

my first weigh today was -4lbs so i was pleased with that !:D:D

weigh in today -3.3/4 lbs :D really pleased as totm today too ! thats over half a stone in two weeks x

i lost 2 1/4lbs this week :D i have only used 25/49 weeklies this week, i am finding it quite hard actuallly to use all of them as the food list is pretty big to choose from on simply filling. anyone else doing a thursday weigh in ? x

Well done on the weigh ins so far, you've done great to get such good losses.

thx atomic, weigh in in the morning so fingers crossed x

well i woke up this morning feeling i hadnt lost anything at all, especially as i had a chicken breast in a ww petti pain not too long before going to bed lol but i have lost which is the main thing -1 1/2lb so ,i'd only used 22 weeklies this week as again have been so full on the simply filling list, but i think i'm going to try and use them all next week as there is going to come a time when im probably going to use them all in one day ! so i want my body prepared for the full 49 weeklies.

I did think thank heavens for the 1/2lb increments on the scales this morning as i always get a bit miffed at just 1lb loss but i guess if someone put a lb weight in my handbag and i had to lug it about i'd soon be moaning so thats the way i think to look at it lol :D x

I weigh on a sat hun but wanted to say well done on ur losses. I've been doing sf since xmas and lost nearly three stone. I did pp for two weeks and although I enjoyed it I found I made unhealthier choices than on sf. I'm back doing at this week and would love to read what u have everyday I find it really motivating xx

I'm a porridge girl with golden syrup lol. It keeps me full for longer. Do u only have one petit pains hun I'm always unsure of portions for potato bread etc xx

yes only one unless it says different, if i was hungry i might but atm i would probably try and put more filling in, oh and have been using a smaller plate for dinner. i tend to eat the healthiest things first and leave potatoes and any extras like stuffing etc til last so if im full up thats what i leave. yeah i love my porrige, i did try an alternative on sat i put my porrige oats (bit less than usual) in the liquidiser and blasted them to powder then added a banana and cup of milk, that was nice for a change x

Looks like you are doing really well with the food and the losses are following!

It took me ages to train myself to like porridge. I pretty much gagged with every mouthful at the start! I don't tend to find it keeps me that full though overall. I have swapped to porridge made with oatbran now and that tastes alot better and seems to be alot more filling. I tend to have mine made with mixed spice and served with defrosted frozen raspberries. Feels like quite a treat in the morning!

thx atomic, mmm i like the sound of the spice in my porrige, never thought of that, i've run out of blackberries that i picked last year and froze, but they were lovely on my porrige. i do find it filling and where as i used to always have it made with milk i'm actually making it with water but it has to have the golden syrup on otherwise its a bit gloopy. i know you like dark chocolate and i found some 85% cocoa in aldi if you have one near you, it's called 'Moser Roth' and it's beautiful, i think it was about a pound for a big bar which is divided into 4 or 5 individual bars of 22g , i find as its so rich i only want the 14g and i suck it til it's gone lol x

I do indeed like dark chocolate. I think I've bought that Aldi one before and it was lovely. So dark it almost tasted savoury :)

Re: Food diary & Thursday weigh ins on simply filling

Here to follow

You're doing good x

That is a very impressive level of preparation to go out with 2 slices of WW bread in your handbag! Made me giggle but very sensible :)

ohhh i'm an all or nothing girl to be sure hahahaha if i fall off the wagon its usually big time so equally if im on it i'm on it properly, it's the maintaining i usually fall at, hence being back here again ;) it was lucky i'd gone out prepared actually as my daughter and i were going to her freinds for lunch and we set of with my baby grandson and while it was peeing down my driver side windscreen wiper decided to stop working so got out to fix it with my nicely done hair, then it broke again and wedged itself on the bonnet grrr so we had to go back to her house and she went in a taxi while i waited for my husband to come to the rescue, so i was left in a house full of easter eggs, crisps etc so i made my sandwich, so was really glad i was prepared today :) xx

wed 10th apr

skimmed milk for coffee through day

b- porrige with tsp of golden syrup

l- ww petit pain with mashed egg in NU ME extra light cheese & pepper

d- roast gammon, roast new potatoes in skin with mint sauce, sweetcorn & fried egg in tsp of olive oil

46/49 so 3 left for dark choc later

weigh in tomorrow so i shall see if eating 49 weeklies has affected weight loss or not x

I've heard alot of people talking about the NU ME range at Morrisons, is the cheese any good?

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow. I think its a really good plan to try and use all your weeklies at least some of the time as you want something to be able to cut back on further down the line if needed. And your food choices always look really good and healthy so sure you will be fine.
