Simple Start!!

Ok!! This is it! I'm going to be a Bridesmaid for my very slim and glamorous sister.

The wedding is in May next year. Taking out 2 weeks over Christmas, I have 24 weeks to make a difference. 8 weeks before Christmas and then 16 weeks post Christmas.

My life is very stressful at the moment. In a good way. Just bought my first house with my Partner. We're really excited about it but no time to do anything. I work in retail so it's that time of the year when I work really long hours with no chance of time off. It's going to be tricky.

One benefit of all this is that I should have less time to eat?!? I am a stress eater so need to manage this.

I've been on and off Weightwatchers over the last few months and lost a total of 4lbs. Realisation has now struck that time is running out and I need to just get on with it.

I have decided to follow simple start. I'm not great with counting points. I get a bit obsessed and weighing and measuring and often give up if I'm not spot on with my points. I also need to break the habit of eating snacking foods like crisps and biscuits.

Starting tomorrow so wish me luck!!
 
hi roz, congrats on new house. Im also starting this looks good to try, good luck hope we succeed lol
 
hi there, well ive kinda tried to follow the simple start but have wandered of the path a little, been a week nearly so the scales will tell but im not confident if im honest, will post back my result lol. Theres not many people posting on here so we may be alone lol good luck
 
useless, i lost 1lb which is not good for what i didnt eat? will try the old points this next week
 
Hello! Just finished my first week after simple start (lost 4.5lb on that) and have done filling and healthy every day but one this week - will find out tonight what difference it has made....
 
A 1Ib off is better than one on, That's a great loss sarah am not doing to bad but only time will tell going to give the speed soup a go today!!
 
Ha, I'm used to it by now! :) 1lb lost this week, which was ok, but I'm going to try doing points every day this week just to see if it makes a difference.
 
Hi speed soup.. 2 tins chopped tomatoes, 1 tin beans, 1 tin carrots (drained), 1 veg stock cube, 1/2 pint boiling water, 1 large or 2/3 small picked onions, salt and pepper.
Add all ingredients to pan blend heat & serve
 
Hi , went back to WW tonight in a year I'm a gold member , but I'm now 7lbs over my goal weight so this simple start is all new to me how are u finding it
