Lindsays Diary
I've been on minimins for a while now so thought it was time to start a diary, since reading through others spurs me on.
So, I originally started weight watchers in 2010 weighing 19stone 6lb. Over the course of a yr (and a two week stint on Cambridge diet) I lost just under 3 stone. I then fell off track and faffed about for ages and rejoined spring 2012. I had mostly maintained except for gaining 7bs of it. I then lost that half stone again and a wee bit more bringing my total loss to just over 3 stone.
My faffing habit returned, and I rejoined for THE LAST TIME a few weeks ago, after gaining a stone, which resulted in me weighing in at 17stone 5. ( so my total loss is down to only 2 stone
)
This time feels different, I don't feel like I'm "on weight watchers" I've managed to just fit it into my life so that it's just how it is. Usually before, If I went out for tea or had a night out I'd lose the plot and go way off track, however this time I'm not, I'm just more conscious of what I choose. It feels good!
I turn 30 in march, and have also just moved back to Scotland with my husband after two years of us living in Norfolk with his job and think these might be what has given me the kick up the bum that I needed! I have spent the vast majority of my 20s fat, I don't wanna do the same in my 30s. Now that I'm home, I'm getting invited on girls nights out etc with my friends but I'm avoiding most of them as I feel I look terrible compared to how I use to look, and just don't feel good when I'm out. I don't wanna feel like that, we've got two years apart to make up for, I want to be getting dressed up and out with the girls loads! We would also like to have kids soon, so I want to get as healthy as I possibly can.
I've also joined a local 12 week weight loss challenge with a cpl of friends which is spurring me on.
So in the few weeks since I've restarted I have lost 6lbs. It's coming off a bit slower than I'd hoped but I'm happy, slow and steady wins the race. That's another thing that's different. Before, if I didn't lose loads in my first two weeks I would go in the huff and off track, ruining it for myself.
Anyway, hopefully this diary will help me in my weight loss journey and I hope to update everyday xx
