Hi all,

I've not been on here for ages and certainly haven't been sticking to plan. I started a blog (www.phatcupcake.com) a while ago as a weight loss tool that developed into a food, drink, fitness and beauty blog. Being a regular on the Manchester food and drink scene has meant I've piled the weight on and can't seem to find the time to prepare or get to the gym! I'm a WW member online and am determined to turn this around, I really hope you can all help me!

Any advice and tips on how to prepare a decent breakfast and lunch (I work full time Monday to Friday 8.30-5) as well as fitting in exercise would be greatly appreciated. I just can't seem to find any motivation and I'm hoping your diaries will help with that. Please let me know where yours are so I can have a read :) I weigh in on a Thursday so will weigh tomorrow morning with a new start weight.

Looking forward to getting to know all the new people here xx

I work 5 days a week aswell and go to the gym most nights. Ifind what works for me is making soup on a sunday which does ne for lunch for the week. I also put my gym bag in my car and go straight from work rather than going home first and also putting my name down for a class so I cant back out and have to go.
Hope this helps

Thank you and nice to 'meet' you :)

I'm out 3 nights a week doing stuff for the blog at the moment so I think what I need to try and do is get to the gym in the morning rather than in the evening. I do love classes though so hopefully I will be able to plan the days I'm not out and go to classes on those evenings. Soup is a great idea, do you just do a 0pp veg or mix it up? I've got a slow cooker so could probably do some decent ones in that?

Hehe! It was a Step By Step Account of my WIs but changed it once I got to Goal to show anything is possible :) x

Also subscribing, I am not great on the exercise front!!! Taking a daily walk with a pram and a lazy dog is as good as it gets!! Mind I have joined a walking mums group on Saturdays unless it's raining they walk 3 miles!! So that should keep me going!! It's silly really because after I walk I feel so much more energetic. Maybe when I lose a bit more I may even try swimming!! X

Wow that sounds like a really good idea and also means you get to meet lots of people in the process. I keep saying I'll try swimming but even when I was fit I struggled with it. I'm moving house and to a new gym in the next few months so everything crossed that it will kick start my motivation. Here's hoping!

Here to subscribe, good luck with it. I used to go to the gym at lunch found it great to get it out of the way as didn't have time to do it in the evenings but since the government have cut my lunch to half an hour go for a walk instead as its better than nothing

Wow sounds like you have a lot of changes going on in your life. Hope everything works out for the best.

Gym isn't near work which is a shame. I started walking at lunch and stopped so I definitely think I should try that :) Will try and find your diary now x

How's your day been Sweetie? X

You can say that again, it isn't even the half of it! Soup sounds yummy I'll give that combination a whirl.

10th October food diary -

B - Belvita honey and nuts 6pp
L - Goodness king prawn tom yum soup 7pp (I ate less than half of it... not impressed!)
D - Chicken pasta bake (taking the rest of my points ;))

I weight in this morning and am 12st6 so this is my start weight. Only 1lb more than I was hoping for so I'm pretty pleased with this. On WW online I am showing a 4lb loss from last weigh in so I'm chuffed!

Sounds as though you're doing fab Sweetie :) Do u find that Belvita fill u up for Brekkie? X

I was so disappointed by my lunch but proud of myself that I didn't go straight for a bag of crisps! Just waiting for my pasta bake and not snacking. I'm definitely finding this motivation from somewhere!
