Clover's Vegetarian WW Diary

Hi all!

I have decided to start a new diary for a few reasons...
1) Im now a vegetarian and want to have a fresh diary free of meat!!
2) I have had a long period of time off from dieting and need a fresh start
3) I have drawn a line under bad food behaviour and binges..
4) I have been dabbling in different diets and now restarting WWs with a new outlook
5) Had some major changes in my life recently and so again.. would like to start fresh :)

So, I'm a university student, just started my second year and have relocated, living with my partner (someone who can eat endless amounts and not gain a pound!) So I have struggled with his constant snacking and his endless pile of 'treats' in the drawer.

I am a recent vegetarian, about 8 months now and loving it. I do struggle with carb control and finding new ideas so I am open to any suggestions!!

I weigh in on Fridays and will post my meals and feelings etc, any feedback greatly appreciated!!

Weight loss:
Week 1 : -8lbs!!!
W2: Sts
W3: +1 :(

Your Stew sounds yummy! Don't you put Dumplings in? How much Skimmed Milk do you have for 4pp? X

Nope no dumplings, I would want too many! How many pp is an anaverage one? I substituted with the potatoes. It was really yummy! And I have 400ml for 4pp, is that right?

Personally I use Pure Skimmed Milk and id get 529ml for 4pp! So you might be doing yourself out of a pp! I use Aunt Bessie's Dumplings, the pack makes 8 and they are 2pp each. I have 4 at a time for 8pp :) x

She LOVED it! Ate every last scrap! I buy that Milk as we don't get through much milk and that one lasts for a Week once opened. X PS-Stick with me for the bargains ;-) x

Omg u have pp parsnip?!!!!!!! Since when?! Oops! Will check in my app, buggar! Dark choc was a asda special one or something, worked it out using the info and calculator app xx

Parsnips have always have PP :-( Along with Potato, Peas, Sweetcorn, I think that's it?!? It would probably have only added 1pp at each meal max. X Did you enjoy the Dark Choc? X

Yes that rings a bell actually about peas sweetcorn.etc. will have to remember that.one. stew is soo good with parsnip tho adds a lot of flavour! Extra 1 pp isnt bad, I added a whole medium sized one, didnt check it's weight tho. I use the same app as u. Its brill isnt it xx

Adding an extra 1pp per stew meal, so total is 37, bang on the buck B-) wouldve Been alot lower without that chocolate! And yeah it was really yummy thanks, need to learn ti cut back on it tho xx

I would say 2pp for a Medium Parsnip would be about right as that's 100g approx. And lets be honest, nobody ever got fat eating one parsnip! And it's just as well you had that Choc as you MUST use your Dailies! I will come smack your bum if you don't, More IS More! X
