Hi all :)

So after hopping on the the scales on Monday I've had the devastating news that I've put on over 1 stone in a year ? It has been a very busy year for me - relocation from the south to the north and starting a job where I work a 24hr rotating shift pattern, meaning I work nights now. This, along with comfort eating, has meant my weight has gone up. I feel disgusting and all my clothes are so tight!

Last year, I got 1lb from goal and that's when the craziness of preparing to relocate started. So now I've decided to start again with PP. I know it's a bit brave of me to start right before Christmas but if I don't start getting in control now, it'll be worse in the new year!

I've got my Christmas do this weekend and then 2 other days/nights where I just know ww will go out the window (alcohol!!!) and of course, Christmas Day! However I plan to stick to it as much as I can in the hope I can limit the damage caused. I'm only off work on Christmas Day then in for 6 days after that, so at least I know I'm not going to have days on end of over eating like usual!

I've not had time to plan out my meals yet so I'll post what I plan to have and update it if there are any changes. I tend to be a creature of habit though! Oh and I'm following this by myself... I used to be a member and had lost 2 1/2 stone with WW, so I know what I'm doing (most of the time!) also, I tend to have 29pp but if I manage 26pp and don't fancy anything else, then I'll just stick with that.

So Mondays WI - 10st 9.2lbs

Today Tuesday 10th December

B - large fruit salad (pineapple, banana & pear) with 2 WW Vanilla Yoghurt x2pp

L - 200g sweet potato made into wedges 6pp 200g baked beans 4pp, egg 2pp

D - prawn stir fry - 3pp for kind prawns, Sharwoods Black Bean Sauce 1pp, Sharwoods Fine Egg Noodles 6pp with lots of veg (baby sweet corn, mangetout, mushrooms & peppers)

Snacks - Apple and nectarine, WW carrot cake 2pp

hiya hun and well done for gettin back on track before xmas!!
i have been off it for a while but decided to try again 2 weeks ago but it is an hard time of the year where treats n alcohol are concerned!!
so i am just ploddin on really but in jan im gonna hit it hard! i stayed the same last week n didnt manage to weigh yest as i had an appointment :(
i too do ww from home, i use the value app diary to track!

I know I'm a bit mad for starting before Christmas! It's not really the treats etc that bother me... I know I'll indulge on Christmas Day, but Boxing Day I'm back at work so I'll be good from then. I find when I'm at work, I'm really good. It's being at home I struggle! And as for the alcohol, I've got 3 big parties/nights out before Christmas but I'm just going to enjoy them and get straight back on track the next day, instead of having hangover munchies... Which then turn into the next day, then the next! Haha!

You stayed the same last week which is great! Especially with all the treats around! I think we just have to take each day at a time around Christmas... It's so hard!

I also use the value app. It's really good - but I do double check points on new things as it can be a little out xx
 
Thank you :) I've updated my diary now. Decided to have half the sweet potato for 6pp and make into wedges with a "fried" egg and baked beans.

Nothing at all? Food was lush and I've never had sweet potato before. Tasted a bit like BNS but better!

Edit - just remembered that you're poorly. I lost my appetite too... Perhaps just a small bowl of soup or something x

i managed a sandwich with just sandwich chicken on! x

It was very yummy! I'm stuffed now :D that should keep me going through my night shift!

Morning! Or afternoon.... I'm a bit fuzzy headed after my night shift. I've only had about 4hrs sleep so will have a little nap this afternoon.

After seeing Shez say is going to have tomatoes on toast, I HAD to have them! I have no idea about the rest of my food for today yet... I always find night shifts weird to plan as I don't like to eat too much whilst at work as it makes me sleepy. So I'll update my diary as I go along.

B - x2 slices of Crusty bread 4pp, x2 medium eggs "fried" and tinned plum tomatoes. It was deeeeeelish!

I did! But I have an intolerance to most fruit and tomatoes so I've been bloated and feeling bleurgh... I can't stop myself eating them though as I love them! It seems to be anything that has pips or seeds in that makes me get a tummy ache/bloating/diarrhea. SO annoying because I love them and find them so filling

same as me with my pineapple ive been goin on about in another thread!
love it but just cant have it, it triggers my ibs off good n propa n i just cant take the bloated tummy n pains after!!
y cant i be allergic to chips? or crisps? lol x
 
Hahaha! I know right... Or alcohol! That's my downfall! ?
