Feel really positive and enjoyed it all. No weighing it measuring. All normal non diet food. Hooray!

Furthermore. Added all my food up in pro points and I've ate approx 20 pp. plus fruit on top which is interesting as my allowance would be 26 per day plus weeklies so this simple start does encourage a wider range of healthy eating and lower calories. Are well today. Very full. X

Hey! Looks tasty. Im going to rejoin Tuesday at my local class.
So are those foods in your diary all free to eat?
Is there a food list for simple start anywhere?
Good luck this week xx

Yes all free apart from meringue and ice cream. They're on the extras list which you pick 2 of each day.
I think you can get the list on the WW website for free foods.
Today I'm having :

Brunch
Grilled bacon, poached egg, grilled tomatoes on Warburton Thins toasted.
Handful of cherries

Dinner
chicken fajitas using spicy marinated chicken , salad & WW wraps. I may use my 2 extras for cheese in fajitas.
Will have fruit in evening if peckish.

I'm definitely eating more healthy. Im enjoying it but couldn't do it long term because of not having the weeklies of 49 PP. Because the food list is so rigid, I am using both treats each day for simple things. I do feel better, fuller & healthier though. I will do this for 2 weeks. Then return to PP with maybe the odd SS day.

Today's menu:

Breakfast
Puffed wheat, sweetener & skimmed milk
Handful fresh cherries

Lunch
2 x nimble wholemeal
Salad leaves, cucumber, tomato, peppers, onions & lean Pastrami

If peckish later I've made some curried veg zero soup in my new Russell Hobbs soup maker (a must buy) - no mess & super quick. Google it, you'll all want one after reading the reviews.

Dinner - got family round for meal so were all having simple start meal! Ha.
Home roasted Ham joint with roasted cherry tomatoes, mashed carrot & turnip, boiled potatoes & roast potatoes (done in air fryer after par boiling)

Treats/extras (dessert)
1 x meringue nest
1 x scoop walls light ice cream
On raspberries

Wendy & Minimammy - are you both doing SS? How are you finding it?

I have done most diets previously but always return to PP because of flexibility. Prior to Xmas I took all of December off and gained 7lb with eating & drinking excessively for a month. I've sneaked at scales and think I've lost 3lb in 3 days. Most of that will be waters etc and I prob won't lose much more, if anymore by Thursday but pleased with that. It will be 1/2 - 1 lb per week for me after that. I never have big losses after week 1. When I did the old "core" plan which us similar to F&H, I lost 1/2 lb a week like clockwork no matter how I changed or mixed it up.

How are you all doing?
Xxxx

Hi im still on pp at the moment when I go to my wi class on tuesday I'll have a look at the simple start and then decide which way to go but pp seem to work for me as I only started ww the middle of august and when I last weighted which was nearly 3 weeks ago I had lost 4st 10.5lbs.
Well done on losing 3lbs in 3 days thats brill hun xx

Wow Wendi, that's an excellent weightloss, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Stick with what's obviously working. X

Sara, I used fresh chilli, garlic, cumin, coriander, squeeze of lime juice & a tiny bit of chilli powder. It was lush & fiery.
I'm ok with SS but only short term. I want the weeklies for my Saturdays! Alcohol & usually meal. I can manage in week on 26 pp each day. I agree SS is def healthier way of life but would be bored with that long term. Xx

Yes I'm doing simple start. I'm finding it fine. I really think this is how people are supposed to eat, you know? But not sure I could do it long term I love cake and wine too much!!? I'm trying to break habits with it though of having ^the above when my kids go to bed.

I have found I have not snacked or been hungry in between. I've eaten till I'm full up though and drank large glass of water/coke zero with each meal apart from breakfast, I have tea/coffee. 3 good meals a day. However, late on , ie now my belly rumbles. I have not eaten later than 6pm. Tonight we ate at 5pm. That may be why. Hey ho, I'm in bed and off to sleep soon.

Skinny sleep everyone!
