Hi All, Im new to mini mins, and new to weight watchers, so please be gentle with me :)

To cut a long story short.....

Im an Ex SW girl, but after losing 3.5 stone on the plan, i got complacent and began to lose interest, so i gave up.
After 6months, a stone of that weight has crept back on! :mad:
I desperately want to lose more weight for my wedding in February (ideally atleast 2 stone from my current weight) so thought i would give Weight Watchers a try.


I Attended my local meeting last night and today was my first day on 'simple start', and so far so good i think.........

Breakfast : puffed wheat, skimmed milk, sweetener & A Banana
Lunch: 2 x WW White Pitta Breads (filled with ham & salad) and some carrot & celery sticks
Afternoon Snack: Apple
Dinner: Steak, (fried in 1sp oil - treat) Jacket Potato, & Salad, Extra light Mayo.
Treat: Small pot of Ambrosia Low Fat Custard.
Drinks: Tea/Coffee (made with skimmed milk) and Water.


im hoping that, that is about right!?

Id appreciate any feedback, and look forward to getting to know you all.

Food looks gd. I nvr really done simple start but that looks about rite (u get 2tsp oil per day if I remember rite - which is pretty gd actually!!).

Always try 2 plan as it dies make all the difference, I'm rubbish if I don't plan ahead!!

Morning Everyone.......

well half way through day 2 and all is still going well.

2 x Crumpets for breakfast (dry, because I was in a rush - actually weren't as tasteless as you might think lol) and a banana. 2 x coffee with skimmed milk, and some water.
For Lunch I have got a WW Wrap, filled with Tuna, Red Pepper, and Extra Light Mayo. Some carrot sticks, and some celery sticks.
Then I have an apple and a nectarine incase of Afternoon Hunger pangs.......

Not too sure whats for tea yet..... Im thinking I might have Pork and stir fry veg (with soy sauce) and brown rice.

Alycyn1980 - I think that 1tsp of oil classes as a 'treat' to which yes, you are allowed to a day. however I don't think oil is much of a treat lol, so I just used 1stp and saved my other treat for custard.
Tonights treat is going to be a couple of WW Cookies I think.

im really enjoying it so far, and im already feeling a lot more positive about everything :)

Morning,

I tried to send a reply last night but my phone wont let me post for some reason :(

So last nights tea, was a pleasant surprise......

I dished up an incredibly unappetising plate of Pork and stir fried vegetables, with brown rice (to which H2B Screwed his nose up at) but actually we both really enjoyed it..... I think using oil rather than the usual fry light adds a lot of taste, and the brown rice was extremely satisfying, as I actually had to chew it lol.

then for my evening treat I opted for a small pot of WW strawberry icecream, which was lovely, and much needed in this weather.

Ive started the day today with a bowl of puffed wheat with skimmed milk.
I didn't have much time to prepare anything for my lunch, so I have packed my work bag with a couple of crumpets, some celery sticks, an apple, a banana and a pot of blueberries.

Ive taken some chicken breasts out of the freezer for tea tonight, but as of yet, have no idea what im going to do with it (open to suggestions!?)

Well Tea turned out to be a chicken dinner.......
Roasted Chicken Breast, New Potatoes, Cauliflower, Carrots, Peas and Green Beans (and a drizzle of gravy, using my 2tsp granules for my 'treat')

followed by sliced banana and a low fat custard pot :)

It feels sooooooooo good to be back in control of what im eating...... i just hope it shows on the scales at 1st weigh in next week!

U will b fine. The point of having free foods is to be able to eat when u r hungry & stop when you are full. If you were hungry then that is ok, jst don't eat for the sake of eating cause the food is free.

When is WI for you?

Oh I meant to say that u, You are allowed 2 tsp of oil everyday. This does not need to be taken from your treats. Do you have the shopping list from the site? If you look down the right hand side it states this :)

Thanks Alycyn, I actually noticed this when I was re-reading through my simple start pack last night lol.

My Weigh in isn't till Monday Evening, i have had a sneak on my home scales though, and it does seem to be going in the right direction. I suppose ive only been doing the plan for 3 days though, and im already feeling a lot healthier!

Todays Food So Far:-

Breakfast - Puffed Wheat, Skimmed Milk & a Banana
Mid Morning Snack - Apple
Lunch - Ham Salad Wrap

So far so good..... However im having an awful afternoon at work..... the last 20 minutes cannot go quick enough! I'm feeling Fed up and Tearful, and I feel like just going home and pigging out on Junk Food!!!

Help Please!!!! :confused:

I joined in May but had a lot of events etc and nights out so was hard to keep track but now I'm back on it properly so this week is like my first week as I'm doing Simple Start. I love the plan though and lose better than when I was on SW.

Food diary looks great Hun. I'm going to add a photo to mine now as I've just made meatballs from the WW book they look great.

Evening Everyone......

sorry ive not been on to update sooner...... ive not been on the laptop, and as ive mentioned before my phone doesnt let me post on Mini Mins.

I dealt with Friday evening well thanks Alycyn, i went to my friends for a coffee and a chinwag to cheer me up straight from work, and then made myself a bowl of Tuna, with wholemeal Pasta, and extra light mayo for my tea (No Salad or Veggies though, so not exactly 100% on plan, but still A LOT better than it could have been) and then a bowl of shredded wheat and skimmed milk before bed.

Yesterday, i was still feeling a bit miserable,and i didnt have a lot of Energy, so it was a bit of a struggle but.......

Breakfast was:- Shredded Wheat with skimmed milk, and sweetener. Blueberries and Grapes
Lunch was:- 2 x WW Pitta, with Chicken, Salad & Extra Light Mayo and a WW Juice drink
Dinner was 2 x Bowls of Shredded Wheat and skimmed Milk.

not an ideal day, but again could have been worse, and i kind of stayed on plan.

Today however is another story, im feeling a lot, lot brighter, i have been and stocked the cupboards with plan friendly food, and have spent the afternoon batch cooking evening meals for the week (ive made a chilli, a spag bol, and a lemon chicken and chickpea tagine)

Food so far today.....

Breakfast:- Shredded Wheat and Skimmed Milk
Lunch:- 2 x WW Wraps, filled with Chicken, salad and extra light mayo.
Snacks:- Banana, WW lemon and Ginger Cookies

Hope your all having a good weekend.....

Those were not bad choices at all! When I go off plan it usually involves, crisps, choc & ice cream all in 1 nite, then I think well I've screwed up so jst carry on 4rest wk!!

U have done really well so don't worry.
