Stacey's Weight Watchers World

Hi Everyone ?

My name is Stacey, I'm 29 years old. I live in Derby & I started Weight Watchers in May 2014 after doing Slimming World since 2007.
I have never done Weight Watchers before so was a little nervous to see what it was all about.

I lost all my weight with Slimming World in time for my Miami beach wedding in April 2010.
I had a size 14 wedding dress & had it altered to a size 6-8 & I felt amazing on my special day. After the wedding I kept the weight off for 2 years.
In the last 2 years I have been yo yo'ing like crazy with my weight & I was starting to get very bored with Slimming World as my losses were ranging from 0.5lbs to 1.5lbs a week but most of the time I was only getting 0.5lbs off even when trying really hard & it was getting me down.

So here I am now doing Weight Watchers & I absolutely love it. There's no going back to Slimming World. I even sold all my cookbooks & everything Slimming World related on EBay & now I buy the Weight Watchers monthly pass.

I had a flying start with Weight Watchers. I lost 6.5lbs in 3 weeks & I share my recipes & ideas with other social networks & I have my own page on one. I love the help, support & great ideas from everyone.

But today I have made this food diary as I have had a lot of social events, nights outs & holidays visiting friends & I want to get back on track again.
I only want to lose a total of 14-18lbs but it has been tough going.

I know with help of you all here that I can do this.
I've not been to weigh in for 2 weeks due to staying in Cornwall last week with my best friend Teresa but I get weighed tonight & I'm determined to have a really good week like my first week.
I've decided I'm going to go back to basics & do Simple Start so I will report back to you all later with my gain at my meeting then start fresh.
I'd appreciate any help & advice as in a complete novice to the plan.

Sorry to waffle on lol just thought I'd share my story & introduce myself. ?

Love Stacey xxx

Hi Stacey,

I defected from slimming world 4 weeks ago as it wasn't working for me anymore, however after 1 initial big loss on the first week of Weight Watchers, I have STS and lost 0.5lb so far :( after sticking to it rigidly, this is disheartening at the moment :(

Much preferring the Weight Watchers diet so really hoping I can change it and lose more! I weigh in on Saturday and after that am planning to do Simple Start or Filling and Healthy for a week to see if that helps.

Just thought I would check in and give you some of my story too! Good luck tonight, looking forward to seeing how you get on!

Hello to you both :)
Thank you for subscribing to my food diary thread.

Sounds like you've both had fantastic losses too. We can all keep each other motivated now.

Its important that you use your weeklies whether you're doing counting or F&H plan Hun.
I've always had my full 49 ProPoints & lost every week (when I've been good lol).

My leader says its important to have your weeklies as once you get close to your target you can then play around with them abit and maybe start to cut them down slightly. Where as if you start doing that now you'll struggle in future.

I'm starting Simple Start again tomorrow so feel free to join me if you want a good boost like me.
I've got all the WW cookbooks too so going to plan some lovely 0 ProPoint meals for the week to help me stick to it.

Good luck xxx

Charl27 have you been using your weeklies or not?

I always find this makes a difference in what I lost that week. x

Yep, I do. Although I tend to use most of them for a treat on the Saturday (after weigh in) and then I just use my normal points through the week.

But I do use them :) x x

I use all my weeklies so not sure why I am not losing too much :(

Will stick with it though because I don't feel deprived at all so don't get tempted to go 'off the rails'. I'm focused and want to lose this weight, it's just difficult when I am making little to no progress!

I weigh in Saturday so will start F&H then, hopefully your recipes will inspire me :)

I have recently switched from SW to WW and love it! I used to do WW before but now it is a lot better with both PP & F&H, I like to do a mixture of both and always use my 49pp.

the WW part of this forum needs livening up though,i prefer minis to the official ww forum !

Hi Sunflower
Ive been chatting to one of the minis moderators & they've said they can update the WW forum abit for us and make some new threads etc to show the new changes and more. I've made a Simple Start/Filling & Healthy thread as well as a recipes thread for it too. Will be nice to see more interaction now there's a few of us on board.
In some ways I prefer it to SW forum as it's not too busy here so you can easily find things.

I have weigh in at 6.15pm dreading it but it's a fresh start from tonight lol xxx

So I went to weigh in and after having 2 weeks off plan I gained 2.5lbs. I can handle that lol.
Now back to it religiously and there's nothing stopping me this week.
Came home and had a random dinner but it was all lovely and free on Simple Start.

Bacon, potatoes, mushy peas and mushrooms.

Loving the random dinner!

I feel better already being back on plan and its only day two. I finished work at 2.30 so just had a late lunch which was tomato and red lentil soup, ham & tomato sandwich & some grapes.
I was pretty hungry after a busy day at work.
Going to have a sleep now as I don't feel too good think this heat has really got to me the last few days and made me very sleepy.

So are you all being good this weekend or you got plans? Hubby and I are staying in so that can only mean my WW week will be successful lol xxx
