Propoints post baby .. time to make a change!!
Hi everyone, my name is Laura. I have had a diary on here before ... before I had my lovely little girl that is. I lost 3 stone prior to getting pregnant and somehow only managed to put on baby weight through my whole entire pregnancy. So, post baby I was feeling pretty positive about my weight but of course then come the sleepless nights, and in my case, pigging out! I found I was eating a lot of sugary snacks to keep my energy levels up and I somehow slipped back into old routines. A year down the line I thought it was about time to step on the scales and see the damage ... I'd put on 3st 12lb in 1 year, weighing in at 17st 12lbs!! I knew it was going to be drastic as none of my clothes fit me anymore but I don't think I was quite prepared for what I had put my body through in the last year. So, I've been back on weight watchers now for a little over a week and I'm currently weighing in at 17st 1.8lb (my WI day is a Friday)
Somewhere along the way this last year, after taking care of my lovely little girl ... I forgot to look after me. And I think it's about time that changed. The point of losing weight last time was because I wanted to be a healthy role model for my daughter and I let sleepless nights deter me from my goal. Damn you sleep depravation!!
So, time to stop talking and getting on with kicking this weights arse!!!
