I know I already had a diary but I decided to delete it and start again. Since I start back at uni in a couple weeks, my eating habits are gonna change daily due to when I have lectures and more social outings and what not, so new (academic) year is a brand new start so might as well start a fresh.
Also, starting the gym today! so everything is new and fresh so I wanna keep to this diary now where there are no gains, or hopefully sts!
so welcome to my weight loss
journey while being a 21 year old student! :)

Sounds yummy Hun - I'm starting tomorrow ! Been a student so know what you up against I put on 3 stone at you :( only know knowing I have to be serious about losing this weight ! I wanna lose 8 stone in total !

But diary looks yummy - I am unsure of a diary as I dunno if I can commit to it ( my memory is atrocious! )

Here to follow yor journey :) xxxx

aw thank you lovely :) yeah, I put on weight this last year, just eating quick food and trying to learn how to buy and cook food myself, oops! I've learnt now though :) I wanna lose around the same total as you! I'm sure you'll be okay, just write things down in your phone or what not before / after you eat something, it's what I do! you could also take photos of your food and keep a picture diary? are you going to class or doing it from home? xxx

I am doing from home I work long hours so cannot commit to group - going to weigh on a Monday so tomorrow is first day ! Yeah I did it through £1 a pint cider and kebabs are a night out lol ! Coming home for summer and none of my summer clothes fitting :( time to make a start ! We should keep each other motivated cos I sure know I need it ! Xx

aw that's fair enough! I'm doing it from home too :) - yeah, we will definitely keep each other motivated! good luck for your weigh in tomorrow! :) are you going straight into points or doing simple start first off? xxx

I'm a student as well and starting uni in September. Bit worried about how easy it will to carry my diet on when I move but hope I can do it. It's nice to know there's other students on here as well. :)

hiya :) if you're already dieting you'll find it easy I'm sure! you can maintain it at least! only thing that may wreck it a bit will be freshers, but it depends on whether you go out a lot or not :)
that's why I started this post, in case there were other students around since I haven't come across many! :)

I've just realised how helpful weight watchers is for me, not only am I losing weight but I'm
also learning: portion control, new foods, the good and the bad food (properly) not just the obvious.. but most importantly I'm learning how to make meals for myself and be independent!
I was always worried about not being able to survive at uni because I thought I couldn't cope. I used quick meals and snacks to compensate for my lack of cooking and convenience and that's what lead to my weight gain.
I'm happy that I could finally learn how to do this by myself and it's actually working too, couldn't be prouder of myself right now :)
sorry for the long post, had a sudden realisation moment :)
