I have been overweight now for 13 years, not quite half my adult life but long enough that I really should have done something about it before now.
But every journey has a beginning and here is the first step of mine.
So why now....
I turn 30 next month and in the next year or so will be thinking about starting a family. I don't want to be a fat Mum. I don't want to pass on any unhealthy food relationships to my children. I want to be able to run, skip, play and do things without having the burden of my bodyweight holding me back. I am also going to Florida in September and again want to be comfortable in the heat and feel good within myself.
So I signed up to weight watchers monthly pass on Saturday 16th Jan and I went to my first class on Tuesday 20th which means my first weeks weigh in is tomorrow. I have 43pp a day allocated just now.
I am going to use this thread to document my highs and lows on the journey down the stones and to set some goals. So goal 1 is to get into new stone bracket by my birthday in two weeks time.
