Alyssa's WW Food Diary 2015 - Starting All Over Again!

Hey all,

I've gained two stone in recent years due to laziness and lack of caring about what I'm putting in my mouth. Deep down, I'm gutted because I lost those two stone on Weight Watchers and felt great a few years ago! I've recently tried Slimming World but found it didn't work for me, so now I'm going to do Weight Watchers again! Determined to lose these pounds that are chipping away at my confidence

I will be following the very old and retro 123 Success! plan as that is what I know and know it works for me.

I'm going to start with allocating myself 22 points per day and see how I get on with there. I used to have about 20 points per day, but I was younger and slightly lighter then!

Anyone else use older versions of Weight Watchers?? :)

Hi Alyssa

I did the old plan years ago and lost 1.5 stone on it. Since then I've been up and down with my weight over the years and doing the current plan now, mixing propoints and filling and healthy days.

I think on the old plan I was on 20 or 18 points depending on whether I was 10 stone something or 9 stone something.

Anyhow good luck and hope to chat. I'm guessing regardless of which plan a lot of the principles will be similar. X

Not a great start, but I know it will take time to get back into the routine of planning and getting to know the point values of various foods. Hopeful that I will eat better tomorrow :)

Been eating crap over easter time. We were taken out for dinner to Ask Italian by my bf's parents, my dad made his famous macaroni cheese on Sunday and given far too many easter eggs and treats! Not feeling too bad about it as it is only once a year, but I definitely could have tried a little harder to eat well!!

My friends and I have planned a weekend trip to Edinburgh in June, and I've found that having something to look forward to and aim for has helped today! Back on the wagon :D

Breakfast
Weetabix (4)
Orange Juice (1.5)

Snack
Apple (1)
Coffee (1)

Lunch
Sandwich (5)
Sushi (3)

Dinner
Pepper filled with scrambled egg & topped with a little cheese (4)
Homemade baked chips - small portion (3)

TOTAL: 22.5 POINTS

Really happy with this first day back on the wagon - I've eaten well and resisted the temptation to buy a muffin or cake from the coffee van at work. I selected healthy options from ASDA at lunch (although maybe I'll skip the sushi next time! I didn't need those extra points!)

Well done on getting back on it today!! This is my first week too but I'm doing the propoints plan I like the idea of the weekly points makes me feel more in control at weekend social events :) well done on resisting the muffin!! X
