ProPoints Time for a fresh start

Hi everyone. *waves*

So I'm not entirely new to minimins but can't retrieve my old log in details so just started a new account. I used to be mrsgosling3 or something like that!

So first let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm 35 and married with one stepdaughter who is 21. They are both supportive but hubby is a bit of a saboteur and is also a fussy eater so meal times can be hard.

I have no idea until Saturday what I currently weigh. I started my journey at 15 stone 5 and got down to my goal weight of 11 stone 10 in March 2013. I hovered for a while at goal but slowly and surely the bad eating started again and I think I'm now at least 14 stone. None of my clothes fit and I am desperately unhappy so it's time to start my journey again.

Saturday morning is my first meeting back. I'm very tempted to try filling and healthy for the first week....a bit like the old simple start but I have such a sweet tooth I find it hard to stick to so it's food for thought..... Until Saturday though I'm going to try and keep to a plan but still have lots of rubbish to use up in the house.

Looking forward to my journey ahead and hope that I can make some friends along the way xxx

So today I'm not really pointing just trying to eat better until Saturday.

I have planned the following

Granola, fruit and Greek yoghurt - 7pp

Coronation chicken jacket potato - 8pp

Fruit salad and ww yoghurt - 1pp

Curly wurly - 3 pp

So it's just dinner to decide. If I'm still on my old points of 28pp a day I would have 9pp for dinner. Really not sure what to have. Hubby and sd have chicken kievs and chips so I may just have tuna, new potatoes and salad.

Need to Sit and plan my week next week for my restart. I like to be organised with my meals

hiya hun and welcome back

good luck and well done for getting back on track!!

Good Luck, Let us know how WI goes. I cant imagine not knowing what i weigh. It drives me insane even when im away on holiday!

Hi everyone, this is my first time on this site, im still working myself around.

A little about myself......I am Amanda, im 38 and a single mum to a lad aged 21 who has moderate learning difficulties and a girl aged 12.
I was a member of weight watchers 2 years ago, I lost 1 1/2 stone but managed to gain it all back.
I was going to re join my local group but it has since moved and is only on a Thursday evening 3 mile walk from me, so as ive still got all my old books and loads of information I can find on various websites I thought I would go it alone.
My starting weight on Monday 27th april 2015 was 14st 7lb, I don't want to aim for a ideal goal weight im just gonna aim for 5%.

So nervous about tomorrow. All good intentions had gone and I have literally eaten anything I could....I am so ready for tomorrow though. I had to buy some size 16 trousers on Thursday. How have I let myself go from a 12 to a 16? Anyway I have a holiday in 23 weeks so that's my aim. I want to be back in my clothes comfortably by then. Dreading the scales but I will report. Tomorrow is planned. Have a meal out for my mil birthday - Indian - so fruit salad for breakfast - 0pp, tuna Warburton thins - 5pp and more fruit salad with a ww yoghurt - 1pp for lunch and then chicken shaslick, boiled rice and a popadom for dinner. ...i will work out the points tomorrow but no idea how to point the Indian. I don't drink much tea and coffee so probably 1pp for milk. I will be driving so no points on alcohol and hopefully no cake will be there. I'm going to try and have a week with no weeklies or if so very few.

Have planned my main meals for the rest of the week too:

Sunday - roast chicken
Monday - cold meat and salad
Tuesday - pork and vegetables
Wednesday - beef casserole
Thursday - lamb kebabs
Friday - chicken or pork stir fry

That's the plan anyway just breakfast and lunches to sort. Did a big shop today so loads of fruit and veg in. Fingers crossed

Well weigh in wasn't as bad as i thought. I actually weighed 2 and a half pounds less from I last weighed although have gone from an evening to morning class. Happy days xxx

I was so surprised but it did spur me on to be good. I have 20 lbs to get to goal and 30 lbs in total to lose. I lost 48 lbs last time and never made it to my final goal just ww goal so I think it's achievable.

I have only planned dinner today which is chicken, fry light roast potatoes and peas which will probably be 1pp leaving me 17 for the rest of the day. I'm quite fancying egg on toast so might have that for lunch and fruit salad for breakfast but will see what the day holds. Have a good day everyone x

Oh and exciting stuff...upgraded my phone yesterday and 02 are giving free fitbits so in a couple of weeks I should have a fitbit :)

It also links with the ww app. They are about £70 to buy but hey if 02 want to give me one for upgrading my phone I'm not going to argue! Could have done with it in italy. Think we walked at least 10 miles a day!!
