Hello, I am Amanda, on the 27th of this month I decided enough was enough.

I had previously been a member of WW and lost 2st, but due to illness and a relationship break up I put the weight back on.
I want to lose weight, become healthier and fitter and look fabulous for my 40th birthday next year, so I have dusted off all my old WW books, signed up to my local leisure centre and gave it a start.

Day 1 30 points ate. 2 Activity points earned.
Day 2 30 points ate.
Day 3 38 points ate. 3 Activity points earned.
Day 4 42 points ate.
Day 5 37 points ate 3 Activity points earned.

 
Day 6

Breakfast
1 Weetabix made with hot water and splash of milk (3) points
ww yogurt (1) point
glass of water

Mid morning snack
1/2 bag of velvets (1) point
Satsuma
glass water

Dinner
ww cottage pie (5) points
salad
coffee with sweetener

I have been invited to my sisters for a barbeque tea, I am going to roast some onions, peppers, mushroom and cook a garlic and herb chicken breast to take with me so I don't go overboard on what foods she's cooking. I am also taking my own alcohol with me so I keep to my 2 points measurement.
 
Totally caved in at the bbq, I ate 1 burger on a bun with mayo, 1 hot dog, 1 turkey steak and 1 Malibu and lemonade.
I need to work out how many points I've used

Woke up feeling like crap, in the past I would have reached for any kind of foods to make me feel better, but not anymore.

I was in the kitchen at 7am preparing a sausage casserole and pork casserole as the whole family are going to my parents for dinner, my sisters are rubbish at cooking so it mostly falls on me, I don't mind though as I know what has been added to make the meals so I can point what I am eating.

Sat down having five minutes to eat my breakfast in peace.

Weetabix with water and splash of milk (4) points
WW yogurt (1) point
Coffee with sweetener
Glass of water

Made my casseroles, I have removed all the pork and half the veg, then blitzed the rest to make a nice soup, its delicious and I presume wont be more than a couple of points for a bowl, I am hoping to fill up on this and avoid the chilli and curry my mum has made.
I love getting together with my family, there will be 18 of us for dinner today, which explains why we are making lots of food. There are also really supportive in my wanting to lose weight, although I expect my dad will offer me some wine and cake today :)
 
Back from a fantastic day with my family, had lots of different foods but only 1 tablespoon of each, managed to avoid all alcohol, so managed to have a pudding.

Week one over.

Week two

Day 1
Breakfast= Weetabix 3 points
Lunch= 2 WW rice cakes with ham, salad and mayo 5 points
Snack= French fries 3 points
Dinner= Burger, low fat cheese, sweet chilli sauce, potato wedges and salad 16 points
Milky coffee 2 points

1 hours walking with my son, not pointed
