Hiya Guys!

I'm Ami, New to WW.

Totally in need of some support. I'm very easily tempted by chocolate and crisps...every single day.

I don't seem to be filling my points up with good foods.
I eat my oranges, strawberries, cucumber and cherry tomatoes most days but my points usually tend to be spent on a wrap with chicken, rice krispies or crumpets and then a WW meal (which I can't even eat because I don't like them :()

I can't cook, and I just need help! I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest and I can't attend meetings due to my work hours... In work we only have an oven (which cannot be used for anything thats microwave only) and a kettle.. also, we have trolleys full of everything bad for you... so if I get hungry after lunch I tend to buy some chocolate or crisps or salted peanuts or premade sandwhiches which are LOADED in fat...

I can't cook to save my life, well I can't cook meat. I'm just having a very difficult time with this and I can't really talk to friends, family or boyf about these things.

I'm hoping someone else feels the same??

Heya! I don't know if you like cous cous, but you just buy that and add boiling water and let it soak it in, a bit of butter, salt and pepper. I usually stick cherry tomatoes in it which tastes nice. No real cooking involved and u can do it at work with ur kettle, or before work!! I'm sure you know how to cook pasta as well? Make it all before u go in and stick it in the fridge!! :) If you want chocolate and crisps take in the ones that arent so high in points like a curly wurly or low point crisps ( i dont eat them so im not sure which ones are low points). I guess just try and find substitutes for the things you are eating? I'm a fussy eater, so its hard for me to!! If you need any help just send me a message, i doubt i will be able to help but i can try! :)

I've never had Cous Cous, so I'm not sure if I like it or not, but I'll try it tomorrow :)
I'm good with pasta, I just don't know what sauces are nice :p I saw a recipe for a cold summer pasta the other day and when I went to go to the shops, I couldn't find the list i'd made to get the ingredients :(
I have all the substitutes for crisps like quavers, chickatees etc all 2pp but I feel so fat eating them anyway!!
I'm really fussy over food too haha.

I like cous cous, its kinda like pasta so its worth a go? I guess with the sauces it's just give them a try and see what happens. I just tend to stick tinned tomatoes, garlic, mushrooms, basil, onions, tomato paste and a bit of lea and perrins together for a sauce. Basic but it works for me! :)
Ahh i guess just try and eat a few less a week, or have chocolate on alternate days or something? I dunno its hard :( i have my bf to kick my butt if he thinks im eating too much bad stuff ahaha.
Ive been on WW since July, but i do it all online, i dont pay or go to groups or anything, just doing it the DIY way cus im poor ahaa. I've lost just over 2stone though so it's going ok, but I need to kick it up a gear cus im getting lazy with it! :(

I'm starting properly tomorrow, haven't really been prepared and I need to be prepared for these kinds of things!!
I started last week but gave up on NY...so my resolution is to start WW tomorrow ...again... haha
I don't like talking about dieting with the boyf. He lives off domino's and chocolate and pastas. He's underweight so I can't give out to him for trying to gain weight but when I stay with him all we get is takeaways and stuff...and he's a bloody chef!! lol

I posted on that chocolate thing a while ago, so I'm gonna start on the 5th, letting myself settle into the program and then going for it. Although, i'm going to try not eat chocolate from now.
Just had two packets of hulahoops and I feel terrible!! Sick and bad for eating TWO! lol

Oh well, new day tomorrow :)
 
A lot of us have this problem about having a skinny other half that can eat what they want..im lucky in the fact i talked to mine about it and he supports and helps me, cus he knows its something that i want..he literally will not allow me to give up until i get to my goal cus he says 'he will be disappointed in me for not achieving what i wanted to'...its a pain in the butt sometimes, but its kept me on it! Hes a chef, he shuld be cooking healthy meals for you everyday eheh :p
Exactly 2morrow is a new day, and hopefully it will go better! :)

I might talk to him about it tomorrow night and see what he thinks...doesn't really help that I went to his restaraunt today and ordered a pizza and chips for my hangover...and then insisted on getting cadbury buttons yoghurts on the way home...

Jesus I really need to get my ass in gear and make a shopping list for tomorrow!!
 
Aha that probably doesnt help no :p You are aiming to lose about the same amount as I have left to lose, I'm sure we can do it :p I think I need to start working harder because the more you lose, the harder it gets to lose :( I wanna lose the last of it by like April/May time! I think you should talk to him though, because if he loves u and knows u r serious about it, then I'm sure he'd be willing to help :)

Aha say exactly that! :p I know sometimes its hard or embarrassing to say to someone, but i mean you can say that you'd like to get a bit healthier and so would he mind supporting you while u do it, cus it would mean a lot..or something. It depends on the type of guy he is on how you phrase it, but im sure he will help if he knows its something u want :) Yes we can do it together! I need some one to push me atm cus ive been awful at keeping up with it :(
 
See he had an ex who was always going out spending loads on diet shakes etc and never sticking to it and moaning etc..he mentioned it to me before when I said I was thinking about doing Celebrity Slim...
I'm scared to mention it again.

Haha I'll give you a kick up the bum if you dont try harder :p

Yeah my bf says he hates it when people give up on stuff...so i guess if u mention it to him u gotta be serious about it? And not get annoyed if he is hard on u if u go off it! :)

I'm sure he will! If not then i can be mean bossy diet lady :p aaha. I moan all the time, my bf has learnt to ignore it ahaha. Are you a night owl like me? Im thinking about sleeping soon, but im at that stage where im tired but not that tired :(
 
Yep! total night owl! which really isn't good because every second week in work I start at 5am -.- so I've to go to bed at like 8 which really doesn't work for me! haha

I've been off for a week so it's going to be hard getting back into early work mentality :(

Im the same, im not a good cook at all. I find I eat a lot of ww ready plans and pre-packed foods which can still help you lose weight a long as you stay in your points :)

I'm an Air Hostess. That sounds like an amazing job, that's actually originally what I wanted to do when I left school lol that or work with kids. Are you excited? :D don't go chocolate binging out of nervousness :p
