Hi all I joined WW a while back and have been lurking, I joined my first class last week and got weighed, I have a daily allowance of 61 pp and I was told by my leader to eat/drink them... I've been struggling and been bulking up meals with rice pasta and potatoes so I can get near my daily points, but I thinkive put weight on and I'm terrified of going to my meeting tomorrow I case I have!!!

    Please help!!

Go go go!! You must. If you have gained the leader will give you some advise, but if you've stuck to the points you should have lost :0) good luck

No really, I think I've over pointed some of my meals out over the weekend as they aren't in the ear out guide to I over pointed them...

I'm still under my dailies and not touched the weeklies the only things I've not tracked is 3 or 4 bits of fruit each day, other than that everything else gets tracked...

I've just put a pair of pants on that was too big for me about 2 weeks ago and now they're very snug :/ so I know I've put on weight!

WW never works for me, all the points just put weight back on...

    *sigh*

Thanks Emma, I'm sure it really does work but just not for me, 61 pp is an enormous amount to eat and I just can't physically face it unless I have take aways and junk food, but surely that's not the point?

For example today I have only used 33 points and I only have my tea left which is 7pp as its a ww meal... So I am still under...

Argh! Ah we'll weigh in tomorrow see how it goes...

A ww meal isnt much for an evening meal tbh. Just because your on a 'diet' it doesnt mean you have to eat low fat foods, try having semi skimmed or whole milk on cereals/drinks, use full fat cheese, sauces, allow yourself treats etc.

I have 42pp a day and could easily have more by swapping foods about.

    Good luck for today

I'm not treating it like a diet and cutting stuff down and swapping for healthier options on purpose, but it's just what's in the house.

I only have the ww meals at night as I work evenings, and have a large lunch so that's followed by a smaller evening meal, like soup or one of the ww options.

The meeting was pants, I had a 3lbs gain which I knew I would as I was advised to eat at least 50 points when previously I ha been eating 45 before going to the classes.

So my leader has suggested to go to 40-45 points and see how I get on, which is more like what I am used to, as prior to going to classes I was doing it online, using 40-45 points as I lost 18lbs or so, so going to the class and being til to eat more was a worry!

It is a struggle when you're on a lot of points, I know...currently on 58, but I've been as high as 64 in the past so know it's a bit daunting thinking you have to use them all up. Personally I find I'm eating four meals a day now, whereas I used to do three (albeit larger) meals. I fancy that allows me to spread the points out through the day better, and doesn't leave one feeling so bloated after a meal (which was a problem for me at first, at least). Really I think they should put an upper limit on points (55 at most, I'd say), as it's surprisingly hard for those of us with a larger allowance.
Stick with it, and best of luck. Sure you'll get there.

Much better result today, had my weigh in after the disastrous one last week and I lost a whopping 8lbs

I must have been over feeding my body on all those points I am much more enthusiastic about the plan now just thought I would update
