Weightloss on Simply Filling

Hi there!

In 2012 I followed the pro points plan and went from 11st 4lbs to 9st 11lbs in 7 months. However my weight has gone up and down in the past year but am currently 9st 12lbs - however I don't feel very healthy or fit so am hoping to lose the remaining 12lbs and increase my daily exercise routines (at the moment they're non existent!)


I followed Simple Start this week and lose about 1/4lb... but I do have a really obsession with carbs (could easily devour a pack of WW tortilla wraps without any fillings!) but I have also enjoyed being able to make batch meals of spag bol, pasta, couscous without weighing and measuring.

Just wondering if many people following the Simply Filling plan are continuing to lose weight, if so how much on average per week and do you have links to food diaries?

I'm aware it's different for everyone... so will try this week and if it's still not moving the scales then back to pro points i'll go lol

Hi I've just started on this so would like to see how you get on. I lost 2.5lbs in my first week but was naughty last week and gained 1lb. I'm back on track now :)

Thanks hun! I just can't keep away from the carbs, that's my biggest downfall. So if I do simply filling I think I'll have to really be strict with myself to only have carbs for breakfast lunch or dinner and no in betweens!

Have you done simply filling before or did you follow the pro points plan? I think simply filling is easier as no counting involved but I need to get into doing pro points. 26 pro points isn't a lot to play with in my opinion :(

I did Pro points and haven't done simply filling before but it would definitely be easier as I won't have to worry about making big batches of pasta etc and weighing for dinner and lunch.
26pp goes a long way... To start with I struggled to use all my 26pp xx

I guess I need to do more research on what to have. I'm going to make some zero point soups which will help.

I used to do the discover plan before it changed to pro points and I lost weight on that. I just need to get my head around the pro points plan.

I had a diary on the simply filling forum called sarahs simply filling food diary which shows my 4 months on sf 5 days and pp 2 days a week and I had brilliant losses, think 35lb in the 4 months, I will try and bump it up to top of page for u to have a look at

Ooh wow thats amazing. I'm just trying to get into the habit of weighing and measuring so when I do have sf days I just do the same so I won't go crazy with my portions. I shall lookout for your diary. Thanks Sarah x

Her to join in on this thread sound similar to me,I've only just started my own thread and it sounds very similar, I've just joined online this week after going to group. I started my weigh loss journey at 13.5 and now I'm down to 10.12, I've decided to try a Filling and healthy month to see how I get on, I've got a bit fed up of counting so time for a change and if it doesn't work I can go back to conting. Looking forward to sharing with you guys.
 
I gave up with Simply Filling... Worked out I much prefer the restrictions of counting my points :)

I started mixing my days this week as o will see how it goes as I put on 2lb last week (my own fault) so hopefully I will have a loss tomorrow. I just want to be naughty though and eat lots of sweets etc lol
