Cool, might have to get myself some frazzles this week yum yum!

I tried (and am still experimenting with) banana omelettes the last couple of days. I am liking them too! It was on someone's diary and I thought I'd give it a go (haven't been able to find it again since, so not able to give credit - if it's you, I love it!). Tried it with egg, splenda and vanilla extract and then one with half of the banana whoozed into it, the rest chopped on top which was nice, but a bit odd in consistancy. Then today it was egg, splenda and vanilla and the banana not in it, just on top which I thought would be nicer, but actually I prefered the first one as this was a bit strange being sweet rather than savory. I love omelette though and it's opened a whole new world for me .

    Re: Disco Sprimmers

    Morning!

Did think I might go out for a run today (when I say run I mean more of a slow jog ) but it gone and snowed again and I'm such a wimp that I might fall over I'm going to postpone it and go get some breakkie I think. Oh well, I've planned a marathon shop with my daughter this weekend, we can power walk

What exercise does everyone else do? I like dancey type classes zumba, salsa and the like but don't do any at the mo, plus I like running (though hate it while I do it ) as I just go, just me, no cost, no excuses (unless there is snow or ice on the ground ha ha) I start with the c25k - it's a good programme and last time I did it properly was running 5k regularly within 10 weeks.

Wow, I've just made an amazing soup. Roasted 3 red peppers, an onion and about 10 baby plum tomatoes in a roasting pan with frylight for about 30 mins at 200c. Made a stock of 450ml boiling water, tom puree, ketchup, 2 veg oxo cubes and a sprinkle of chilli powder. Sauted 2 sticks of celery for a few mins until soft. Took off any really burnt skin from the onion, toms and pepper then blitzed them all up together. Just waiting for the bread i've got going in the bread maker, but had a taste and oh my goodness! Best soup I've made in ages! Come on foccaccia! Might have to have sliced and save the bread for tea!

I'm sure it'll be fine Lou, can you work out the points?

I'm having leftover beef stew tonight which was delicious yesterday.

Did manage to get out for my run. I'm back on the c25k running programme and started back on week five. I enjoyed being out again and catching us with my zombie story podcast that I run to

Then the girlie and I went for a marathon shop. Let's just say someone did okay clothing wise today and it wasn't me! Heh, had fun though. I was good too, waited til I got home to have a late lunch, even though my daughter had a greggs sausage roll!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been quiet, hectic weekend. That soup sounds delicious Hules, might try that one. Not so sure about the banana omelet though.. Hahaa.
LouMo your new pic is gorgeous! And Rach I weigh in on a Wednesday, you?
I like a lot of combat based workouts, the gym does some fab classes of martial arts to music. I also do a pole fit class once a week, can really feel it working my core and upper body muscles!
After all the worrying about points, the pancake restaurant wasn't even open this morning, typical! So I was even worse and we had a cooked breakfast :/ I did avoid the fried bread and fried eggs though, plus I only ate until I was full so always a bonus! Haven't snacked at all today to make up for it, and had a healthy evening meal of roast veg and chicken breast so hopefully I haven't done too much damage! Went to the cinema last night and ate a bag of malteasers, bloody lovely, and enjoyed guilt free as I pointed them, and remained within my daily allowance! So all in all had a few cheats this weekend, but will be fully back on the wagon tomorrow morning, trying not to beat myself up too much as I didn't go over the top and it was a lovely couple of days.
Wow, sorry for the essay! How was everyone else's weekend?
    Xx

Well I think you've done really well! It's so hard when you're out of your routine. I bet previously you would have eaten everything and probably more so well done you! You're weekend sounds great.
I can imagine the pancakes not being everyone's cup of tea

Yes the weekend is so difficult as there's no structure or routine. I didn't point my meal as I could never draw back the points so hopefully my 2 metafit classes will help me out. Mmmm I love a fried breakfast! I'm watching fat families just now it's spurring me on love getting into a routine again on a Monday. Hules your running training sounds quite difficult I've never been able to do it I don't mind power walking but I have a large bust so can be quite sore I tried body combat also Nibbs it's what you put into it that you get out of it although body attack challenges me more so I'm hoping metafit is the same! X
