    Getting into the 8's!

    Hi! I've seen threads like this for all the other numbers, just wondering if anyone is like me and is trying to get into the 8s?! I'm quite small so would really like to be 8 stone! I got to 8stone 12 before Christmas but seriously struggling now after putting on 6lb over Christmas. I'm now 9st 1.5lb but not very motivated anymore!

    At my heaviest a couple of years ago I was creeping up to 10stone which is verging on overweight for my height so I want to make sure I keep heading in the right direction and not end up back there!!

    So anyone in the same boat??

    I find the last few pounds take forever to come off. I lose around half a pound a week & if I cheat then I gain loads!

    I've been between 9 7 and 9 9 since hitting 9 7 last July. ARGH haha. Annoying isn't it?

    Glad other people are finding it so slow too! Feel like just giving up on it sometimes ha but even if I lost half a pound a week I'd be well into the 8s by my holiday in May so I have to think of it like that! Might even be at my goal by next Christmas!! haha

    agree - the 8's have always been so tricky for me! I think the lightest I've ever been is 8st 13lb and found it almost impossible to stay there.. hence my goal weight is now 9st 7lb.

    When I first read your note I thought you meant size 8 jeans... now thats an even bigger struggle..!!

    I'm 5 foot 2.5, so think about 8st 7 would be good for me too but I haven't been that weight in about 5 years so I really don't know, I'm being ambitious though and aiming for the lowest of my BMI healthy weight range but if I'm happy before getting there I'm gonna stop, I do think it would be impossible to stay at 8 stone without being on a constant diet haha

    I went down to 8st 4lbs just before my wedding in 2004! I was too stressed and busy to eat - I could never stick at that weight, it must be really hard work. I would be secretly pleased if I was 8st 13lb! It would make all the difference psychologically!
