So here I am again. I'm all prepared for a new start this morning. Notebook is organised and I feel quite optimistic (thanks Lorny, you got me going x x :p). I'm going to give it a real push for 2 weeks before I go away, then when I get back another real push to Christmas.

Anyone else around? I HAVE to talk to peeps about what I'm doing or it just doesn't happen :S
 
I'm around! I wasn't feeling up to college today. I just have a real funk and I need to organise my flat. It sounds silly, but I hate that my flat doesn't look neat. It's usually tidy, for the most part, but I just have things in 'neat' piles here there and everywhere. I feel like it's a case of tidy flat, tidy mind, and then I can feel focused on the stuff that's important. I will definitely be doing my stepper today, as I really have no excuse now, time wise. I just need to start sorting things early so I can have it all done and start to feel better.

It's all daunting again, the feeling of the pressure to do well when I've had a month off of dieting.
 
I understand that, I was saying the same thing to the hubby about how I am MUCH more focussed when the house is tidy. Sadly it looks like I've been burgled at the moment! (totally not joking either!). I'm also home today and tidying is on the agenda.
 
I'm back 2day! :D so I joined slimming world last week could not get to grips with all the rules and plans and I'm sorry but when someone says you can have unlimited free food (eg pasta) I take it to the extreme! It's common sense it's like saying chocolates free but you know too much is bad for you so you shouldn't eat lots but the fact someone tells you it's free you'll eat loads knowing it's not helping you. Too many mind tricks and too complex. So I'm back need weight off for Xmas or I'll be miserable! Really cold this morning so I've had a minestrone cup of soup and sandwich thins for brekkie coming in at 3.5pt so 18.5pt left. How we all doing? X
 
Hi I'm back on it too!! Hope u don't mind me joining u. Fallen off way to many times. Been 100% so far with 5.5 left. Had a big cook up yesterday with Turkey chilli, bns and chilli soup and spicy veg- which so far all ok and helps as you get so much more from cooking from scratch rather then ready meals. Hoping to get a stone off fir Christmas.

Of course anyone can join! I am still eating badly, but not overeating. That can only be a plus, right? I'm slowly learning when to stop eating. I still need to get my head into healthy eating mode though. I weighed today, not official, but just a check in. I was 1lb up from the day before and I had a bit of a panic today about it. However, I have half a big bag of crisps, and half a bag of peanuts left, as well as a whole bar of Crunch chocolate, and I have no intention on bingeing on them. I think that was a close call! So yeah, besides it being badddd food, I am getting to grips with eating until I am full. Plus resisting chocolate. I'll have to see what I weigh in the morning, but I think I'm going to try have my slim fast shakes to kick start the metabolism in the mornings, without feeling like I'm eating. As weird as it sounds, but if I can go without breakfast, I'm less likely to eat crap. It's like once I eat, the 'seal' is broken, and it means I can have a nice lunch without feeling like I'm on a diet.

So how has everyone else done?

Had a good ish day within points but not totally healthy!!
Yes know what u mean about kick starting the matabolism I'm with u too once you've had breako you wanna eat more and more. Might give the milkshakes a go too- have a bag full of exante but it hurts to use 4 points on it iykwim!!

Hi guys, I've been at work all day so not able to snack. Had the munchies when I got home but just had sultanas and a cheese triangle so quite proud of myself. Had about 18 points so far (out of 22) so a good start for me. Now what to have for pud...?
