Saying goodbye to my unwanted stone

I've decided to try and keep a diary as I felt that I needed somewhere to jot down my highs and lows.

So who am i.... My name is Claire I'm 31 (shhh don't tell anyone), married and im a mummy to two daughters (4 and 2) I've made a real effort to eat healthy and my girls have really benefitted (they love their fruit and veg) I've made some great lifestyle changes because of them but still haven't cracked the weekend naughty eating (that usually means too many crisps and chocolate with hubby watching a film) It's always my downfall as it typically happens from Friday to Sunday so does hinder me. Really must knock that on the head lol

Anyway back to my little story. .....

I have always had fantastic success losing weight with WW. I've used the plan three times

1) 2006 I lost 2 stone
2) 2009 I lost 4 stone after having my first daughter
3) 2011 I lost 1.5 stone after my second daughter

Every time I have just dipped into the 10 stone but never successfully lost the 1 stone from 11 stone
to 10 stone

I think my problem has been I've ended up running out of steam and when I get to the 11 stone I can get into size 10 clothes so the incentive is no longer there. I also find the support I had from friends and family goes as they've decided I'm light enough. So I stop but never fully satisfied as I never get to the final end weight.

So here I am going to make this the 4th success, it may only be a stone but it's the FINAL one!

So I'm on day two. Ended up having KFC so used many of my weeklies but still got 26 left till Tuesday. Gonna try to have two days with just my dailies.

Tomorrow I've got the dentist and hair dresser so plan of action is to have lunch and dinner planned ready to take the pressure off cooking.

Off to get the chicken out.

Well its going rather well so far! Im trying to take it one day at a time and going with the flow.

I know I can be successful with the plan just got to be focused and try and get a good week under my belt. Once ive got into a good rhythm I should fly with it.

To try and help my journey I've bought the value app everyone raves about. Ive got mixed feelings towards it, I have found some differences so trying to use the NV where possible but there is some great features! I love the record keeping style, the option of keeping a favorite list so if you do have different points to the system you can keep your own record and having the bar code facility is wonderful.

So im hoping this app will help my the road to sucess easier and so far so good.
 
Great to her you're doing so well so far Sweetie, remember times like the KFC are when your Weeklies really come into their own. X Keep up the hard work Sweetie, you can do this! X
 
Haven't been very good on being on plan let alone completing this journal. Last weekend things just went a little wrong. I had two unexpected meals out and as I had the KFC earlier in the week my points went through the roof! But I got back on the wagon and even with the heavy points I ended up losing 1.2lbs! That reminds me i must update my stats lol


Anyhoo im trying a different tact where im trying to keep my weeklies back for the weekend, as thats where my weeklies usually go.

So back to feeling positive! Going to Chessington World of Adventure tomorrow but no panic there as I always do pack lunches so the points will be cool

Hi all

I've come back from having a months with Sw and as you can probably guess with me returning the plan hasn't worked for me.

I do love all the pro's of SW but the con's are real hard to work with in my current life. I need flexibility and generally Sw doesn't offer me that.

So back again and sadly returning heavier :( I'm currently 11st 1.4lbs and my plan is to be 10st 13lb by 23rd Dec.

I've bought the WW kitchen scales to try and help as I find cooking from scratch and having various weights to calculate to be so time consuming and what generally causes me to give up.

My weigh in are still Tuesday and so far I've been on plan 100% and I've got 33 weeklies left.

I'm off to a panto and dinner tonight so not expecting to be 'well behaved" as the restaurant isn't in the EOG nor does it have the NV published. The plan is to be on plan all day until I go for dinner at 3pm. I'll have what I want and not snack on anything at the panto.

I don't plan to use my weeklies on Monday so that does leave me 33 weeklies for two days. So hear goes

So new week and now the hard work begins. I don't know about anyone but it's always week 2"i struggle with. The motivation isn't as strong.

My eldest had her nativity play this morning so I had a McD breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed and the wonderful thing is I'm still on plan.

I've had a great day and 100% on plan. I've got 2 dailies left. Last week I had the first 3 days without using my Weeklies which I'm planning to repeat this week. Hubby is on nights over the weekend so that means i won't be using all my weeklies but I do plan to go to a cafe Friday so will definitely use them then.

Me too, this 1st is sticking with me. She's being a bit of a bi7ch to get rid off. But mark my words she is going, like it or not. Good luck flower!!
 
Oooo ladies today is a struggle!

I'm craving carbs!!! For me my ovulation week is the hardest time of the month. I get the spots and cravings!

I've ended up having a sandwich for a lovely sandwich shop and although I've controlled everything its all estimation so I've given lunch 14 add a few biscuits and breakfast my dailys are down to nil!
I'm also shattered so struggling to get dinner sorted. Today is definitely use weeklies. Just got to stay in control and remind myself that I did so well last week

So as you know I've struggled today and I have had a takeaway but.... I've been good!

Hubby has a pizza and I have the sides which normally is two slices of garlic bread, nearly a whole box potatoes wedges (bearing in mind it's a share box) and 5-6 mozzarella sticks. Normally i don't weigh I simply eat but tonight I made a conscious effort.

I weighed my garlic bread (still 2 slices) I weighed the potatoes, had a smaller portion then normal and still only ate half and finally I only had 4 mozzarella sticks.

Yes my points have been super high and I've got 22 weeklies to last me 5 Days but I'm so proud I've stayed on plan!

I have struggled but to stop the food calling I've put washing up liquid over the remaining food so no chance for eating them ha ha ha :D
