[h=1][/h]Hey Everybody, I'm starting this diary as I feel like I need help, advice, somewhere to share the ups and the downs and just talk really.. I've been a WW member since christmas and have so far lost a few pounds.. gained a few pounds.. lost more.. and after tonight have gained two!! I'm now 14lbs away from Gold and have a wedding coming up in October where I will be meeting all my boyfriend's friends.. NO PRESSURE AT ALL TO LOOK AND FEEL FABULOUS!!!! without sounding like a complete and utter cow.. before we got together in March I was 5 and a half pounds from gold... Aaaaannnddd of course I relaxed a small bit haha :rolleyes:

My house is as you would say a busy one.. There are people of all ages and ailments.. My uncle has severe acid reflux and cannot eat much more than white meat, root veg and bran flakes! I made a spicy spag bol 3 weeks ago and his hiccups only went yesterday!! no onions, peppers, tomatoes, sauces, spices.. As if thats not hindering enough roll on lodger number 2.. who is allergic to mushrooms.. ( not sure if it is a real allergy or just a dislike, am afraid to find out i think :p) and thirdly we have a person who cannot eat spicy food... fourth is a struggling weight watchers member who had a staple diet of potatoes, veg, gravy and meat.. with 7 variations of the meat each week...... all of these people are over 18 may i add.. should be well able to fend for themselves but somehow they just cant do it..

My mother who I love dearly has the same shopping list since 1984.. it consists of ham, cheese, bread milk,spuds, frozen veg and 7 varieties of meats to go with said spuds and frozen veg...
:giveup: Dont get me wrong, I do the shop every second week when she works away for the week but as I do have to live myself a bit I dont think it is very fair that I run a house and mother everybody when I havent given birth to any of them.

My leader has this week told me that I have to be selfish and look after myself first before everybody else.. So.. I think i might have to go root through my recipe books, do a bit of planning and make a quick dash to the shops...

Right, head in the game!! i feel that if i have to report back here that i might actually be honest with not just ye, but also with myself..

Yours seems so daunting... It's like a massive family and I feel lost reading it.. Slowly but surely I will get the hang of this.. God, 14 weeks and you have lost so much! I dont even know you and I'm well proud of ya haha

Today started out quite optimistic, took a few shakes and tumbles but i think i should be ok.. I have quite an active job, I'm an electrician which is great as I'm always running and racing around but with this level of activity comes the man attitude of eating large fry ups mid morning... stopping at the shop every day for MASSIVE bars of chocolate and multiple packets of crisps... It is very frustrating for me but as i have tried asking them not to eat out every day as I feel like I have to go or I am isolating myself from them socially.. silly as it sounds they just eat out every day and its normally a massive fry up at 11 am when most places aren't doing salads until 12pm.. so today i managed to just have 2 slices of wheaten bread and a small tub of blackcurrant jam.. still are.. points i hadnt planned on using.. was a bit annoyed but i'm not feeling as bad now..
right so.. here it is so far :gen126:

Scrambled Eggs with tomatoes, ww cheese and chives
2 slices of Slimsters bread

No, I don't think I will today.. I'm not that hungry today.. I was reading your thread about using weeklies, do you use all 49 of them or a few here and there? My weigh in day is Monday so I'm trying to keep a few for the weekend... I ended up doing a 7km mountain hike and earned 13 points.. I might just leave them be.. Not sure really.. Pure happy that I didn't sit on my ass all evening and graze :)

I WI on a Friday and tend to use Weeklies on either a Saturday or Sunday so it's far away from WI but saying that I went out for Pub Lunch yesterday and used 20pp! I think it's trial n error with Weeklies, only you can find out what works for you. My best losses have definitely been in the weeks where I've used the most weeklies but in a big job lot. X
 
Not really sure if I have mentioned but am now sitting in KFC with my boss as a Friday 'treat'..... Bearing in mind we ate out Tuesday and Thursday this week too... So I have had original recipe chicken salad bucket with croutons.. The dressing is 7pp so avoided that gracefully.. Think this is working out around 9pp if anybody could verify I would really appreciate it... A bit sickened but think I handled it pretty well :) xx

Original Recipe Salad is 7pp so I would expect that 2pp would be enough to allow for Croutons? Fab Choice Sweetie :) x

Soooooo proud of myself though and also told him that I have a wedding soon and want to feel comfortable on the night.. so he ate 2 portions of chips :p xx

not really a bad influence as such.. he lives alone and doesnt do a regular weekly shop, living on potato waffles and fish fingers haha.. the odd pizza and that was it! he plays a lot of sport and doesnt have time for larger meals before training/ matches.. I do own chickens so have gotten him into boiled, scrambled, any kind of eggs which isnt a bad thing.. but he has such a sweet tooth, which thank God I don't but it was the packet of double choc chip cookies on movie night that got me.. so now he gets bags of licorice which I hate.. and I get loads of grapes haha.. He knows I am in ww and trying to lose a stone but at the start he was telling me I didnt need to and he loves my body but I got it through to him that I'm not happy with the stone and I'm doing it for me.. He's now coming running with me and encouraging me to try cycling as he is a keen cyclist.. :stickdance:

Awwww bless, I know it's random but have u ever tried frozen grapes? They taste like Boiled Sweets mmmmmm! X

no, I might go freeze some now for the laugh will I? are they just for a snack or what? Frozen grapes and tea haha... What do you do for AP Serena? do you just class an activity for AP or wear a pedometer all day and use them as I've seen it done on here.. I would walk between 12,000 and 19,000 steps a day but never count them as AP unless I specifically go for a walk/ run/ burst down the road hehe

I just wear my Pedometer from the minute I get up to the minute I go to bed! Some days I earn 0AP, the most I think I have earned is 6AP from walking alone! I never eat my AP, just 'bank' them and know I've done it! X PS-Let me know what u think of Frozen Grapes, mine never last long enough to be frozen lol x

Yeah I am really trying not to use my weeklies too close to the start of the weekend incase i end up needing them tomorrow.. I'm just kinda saving them for later.. well I just had a ww toffee popcorn bar with tea there so it's now 6 weeklies used.. not bad! did you ever try them? they're really nice!! would you believe i've been sat here at the pc for the last 30 mins and never thought about the grapes hahaha.. been printing recipes off the ww website.. gonna try creamy chicken pies tomorrow as no spices, no mushrooms, no onions/ peppers.. preparation is the key I do believe :) Gonna go run now and freeze those grapes before i forget hehehe xx
