Was scared to get on the scales this morning. !!

Got back yesterday from a wonderful trip to Rome and have eaten very well indeed, and celebrated with a bottle of ciantii (sp) or two!!, plenty of pizza, pasta and croissants too

Felt really fat yesterday after the indulgencies of the past few days... and was dreading getting on the scales today to see what damage had done.!! Was really expecting the worst!!

But OMG I am actually slightly lighter than before left! Goodness knows how thats happened..unless it was from all the walking!! Talk about see Rome in a day!! . We walked all over and saw most of the major attractions in one day!! and I mean walked. My legs are so aching still!! Shame I forgot my pedometer I would have clocked up some serious step count!! LOL

Kidding aside.. Rome well what can I say.. I am not really one for historical places but couldnt help but be bowled over by the place. We only had a very short time there, but intend to go back soon to see things in more depth. It really is an enchanting place.

Was very busy everywhere though, the Spannish steps, Trevi fountain were HEAVING!! have never seen so so many people in one place in my life!!

    Had a great time though!!

Back to point WW counting tomorrow.

Hey Deb it certainly sounds like you burnt of the food you ate.....well done on doing so much in 1 day. Such a shame you didnt take your pedometer it sounds like you would have taken the crown.

You lost weight - that's fantastic, shows how much walking you did and how good walking is for you.
